Veera is such an amazing hostess. It was such a pleasure staying with her and getting to know her. She made me feel at home. And bonus, if you have the time, and she is available, please make an appointment for a reflexology treatment. It is the BEST treatment I have ever had. The B&B is a little out of the way, so transportation would be beneficial, but it is right between Courtenay and Comox, making it a good spot for sight seeing. It was nice to have breakfast in the morning and Veera even went out and bought Gluten free bread for me, even when I told her it wasn’t necessary. Made me feel valued and welcomed.

This is not a complaint or game breaker as i stated I would stay here again -- tv in the room and a left hand turn onto the property is bit harder during the day ( a bit of traffic between comox an courtnay) and its a double yellow line.

Veera was a excellent host , recommended places to sightsee. View from the bay window was great. Veera was very receptive to our late arrival because of the delay at the ferry crossing and how our flights were booked. Price for the stay is very good. I would stay here again.

There were No Shampoo when taking a Shower but Liquid Soap did very Nice replacement anyway.. The location Of The Estate was a little bit far away from City ,but Bus transportation would solve the problem..

Less than ten minutes from the friend we were visiting. The owner was super friendly and she made a great breakfast. Payment was as simple as it gets.

We had a very lovely (albeit brief) stay at Estuary House whilst we were visiting Comox with family. Our room was cozy and clean, with a large balcony that overlooked the mouth of Courtenay River where we watched seals bobbing around and birds swooping down for fish. Breakfast, a delicious plate of blueberry pancakes with scrambled eggs, coffee, and juice, was served in the communal lounge alongside other guests. Our table was looking out over the estuary with a view of the Comox glacier. Veera is a warm host with a lovely guest house and garden.

Veera was super nice and welcoming! She even packed our breakfast to go because we were leaving early on the last day. The view from the breakfast area was beautiful! The place had everything you need and very quite and well equipped. Communication with Veera was very easy and quick.

We enjoy coffee in the morning. Folgers was the brand of coffee offered, but a choice of a different brand, even McCafe or Tim Horton's, would have been preferred, Not a complaint, but a heads-up for future guests - it was very hot in August when we were there and like many homes in that area, the B&B was not air conditioned. Luckily, it cooled off somewhat at night so we kept the windows open to get a breeze through, and a fan was provided in the room to keep the air moving as well.

The breakfasts were very tasty and nicely presented and included fresh local fruit. The room was comfortable and very clean. The common room has a beautiful view of the estuary so you can look out while having breakfast Veera is a lovely, friendly person and made us feel very welcome. She even picked us up at the airport (for a fee, but cheaper than a taxi), which was very appreciated.
