We loved the location as it was close to the Village, close to downtown Collingwood, and close to Scandinave Spa.

The only complaint I could have ( if you want to call it a complaint lol ) the bathroom was very cold quite the shock leaving the shower in the morning.

Great staff and the building as well as the room was in immaculate condition. They also severed a very good selection of breakfast items and the quality of the food was great 😃

Upon checked in when we received our room it was dirty. (Not a huge deal) Bed seemed to be smaller than a king??

Not much to dislike, just wish they had rooms on the 1st floor, so the tea and coffee was easily accessible at all time. As lazy people like us didn't want to leave our cozy room and go down to the lobby everytime 😄 First floor has the breakfast area, conference rooms and all the amenities.

Fairfield by Marriott Orillia was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff was exceptional and extremely helpful. Their service is commendable. Don't forget ro ask them which restaurants are good nearby, they have a whole list of staff preferred olaces to eat, which I really found thoughtful and personal. They genuinely care about making your stay memorable. The room was excellent, beyond our expectations and much larger than expected. We have never seen such cleanliness and upkeep in a hotel before. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate. On top it all, the rooms are soundproof, which was great as we were watching movies all night. The hotel cleaning staff was amazing, always working. Even in the breakfast area, as soon as someone got up and left a table they were at that table cleaning it up quickly and neatly for the next person. There was 24 hour tea, coffee and lemon water provided for everyone in the lobby, an added bonus. Lobby was so cozy and spacious, you could have your own party with yoir family and friends, lovely place to hang out. Location is great, nearby everything. You do need a car, which we had, so it was no problem. All the great restaurants and shopping is within 2 to 5 minutes drive, some maybe 7 minutes away 😊 There's a movie theater right next to the hotel, if you have time to catch a flick. We really loved our stay, absolutely worth it. Rest assured, we will return.

It's kind of in the middle of nowhere. There's a movie theatre next door which is great if you want to send the kids off to do something :) but it is essentially in a big box / auto shop neighbourhood (breakfast room overlooks the lovely Home Depot). No restaurants really within walking distance and you aren't inspired to walk around the neighbourhood. However, we were just there to sleep, eat breakfast and then go skiing, so it was great for us.

The room was excellent, great size and comfort and bathroom was really nice. Whole property feels like new. Convenient parking. Didn't use the pool but it looked great and was open until 11PM. Staff were incredibly positive and friendly. The breakfast was FANTASTIC - waffles, eggs and omelettes, sausage, cereal, fruit, baked goods, great OJ... came down at 9:35 (closes at 10AM) and they were fully stocked and still stocking fresh food and coffee. Overall really great. My son wanted us to stay another night (and skip school lol).
