I did not like the third party booking service. I was told I wouldn’t be charged, it was just to hold the room. Then when I need to change things I wasn’t allowed and was being charged the full fee for the room

TV seemed a bit challenging to navigate regular channels.

Pool was quite small.

Location was excellent. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was good. Basic egg with sausage. Assorted bagels, waffles & cereals. Yogurt with fresh fruit.

Wish there was an easier exit on to Barrydowne. Turning right is easy but going left to the big box stores is really hard depending on the time of day.

Value for money…..just everyyyythinggg is too expensive these days. So my comment is more about life expenses in general than the value from your business. 😔

The bathrooms could have used upgrading. The toilet seat wasn’t firmly secured and kept shifting. There was pink mould in the bathtub , which is actually a type of bacteria. Not good. For $200 a night after taxes, that area needs to be focused on more. The duvet for this time of year November, is not warm enough, and turning on the heat just dries out the air. I also noticed the front desk woman coughing in her hand. How do people still do that in 2023?? Turn your face into your elbow please!

there was a toddler in the room above us that was running around until after midnight and started again before 6 am....management should put families with young children on the main floor so they don't disturb other guests trying to sleep. I complained to the front desk but only got "I am sorry, have a nice day"

Like every hotel in North America this is also overpriced, but you can still find some value in the service. Nevertheless, breakfast with tableware made of wood? Fixed shower head???? Shower head is so 19 century that I wonder who in a first world country is still satisfied with this for their hygiene.in a 200$/night room? I guess we should be happy there's water, right? And yes, our ancestors used wooden spoons and forks. I guess we should be happy we don't have to use hands or bring own tableware from home. Now, in the effort to pretend we're saving whatever we're saving, we lose the comfort. so, pay more for less. This applies almost everywhere in Canada. Then invasion of privacy under the pretense of improving the service. Bottom line, not so happy with the overall but will not deny the positives. I edited this note because apparently it was not according to booking.com guidelines. So I wonder why would you ask for traveller’s feedback if you’re not willing to publish it?
