How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Parking was an extra $20 a day which is a little much since they have a parking lot. Should be included in the stay.
My son loved this place, pool and hot tub. Clean the location was right where we needed to be. Will return. Also liked it was only $100 deposit not the average $250.

Breakfast policy and breakfast menu. They have only provided breakfast for 2 people even though i booked for 4 people. Breakfast was very limited and economic, I didnt see canada hotel has such economic menu limited where we paid high price for per night

I had to request a move change because the room didn't have working AC. Coffee machine wasn't working, and remote control had no batteries and,back cover.Also room is only lit by lamps and doesn't have a main light had to open curtains during conference call. No major complaints.
Rooms are a little out dated but, for what you pay is reasonable,also rooms are very clean. Hotel is very close to all attractions and,also hotel offers breakfast which is very ideal. Also,when I inquired problem with the room, the staff ensured I was moved to another room quickly. Staff was very friendly.

They take the amount more than my damge deposit and they said I damage the carpet with nail polish which I don't use during may 1night stay. They take to $565×2 in my credit card for that which is way too much.
Location is family friendly because close to the falls and amusement park for kids and they have swimming pool indoor.

No microwave and location of room had no elevator access. I also did not appreciate the hostess at breakfast not putting in my order. Others who came after me received their breakfast before me. I became suspicious especially as I am someone of color.

The lock on the balcony was broken... they put a makeshift lock which is not secured can be easily open from the balcony.
Very accesible to bus stops and just one block from Clifton hill.

The room was not adequately cleaned. Specifically there was build up behind the toilet seat, the mirrors had a filmy coating, and I had to clean and disinfect the shower enclosure and jacuzzi tub before use.
The location was excellent.

I didn’t like the fact that the bathroom Had a jet tub but it didn’t work
I like how close the hotel was to the falls and all the other activities around the area.

You can hear everything, the walls are thin and people walking passed the room could be easily heard so that was quite annoying when trying to sleep.
Great location for visiting Niagra Falls. Good value for money.

The staff is non-welcoming. The woman who checked me in was not smiling at all. I kept making coversation, but no reciprocation from her. The other staff, sabrina, was good. She was at least having a conversation. We expect better customer service specially a place that runs on tourism.
The location is really good. They gave us the room early since it was ready. It was really nice of them. They also started keeping breakfast for a cost, thats really great parking is great.

The rooms need better cleaning, especially around windows. Some dead bugs and hair around and dusty. And the beds weren’t properly done. The sheets and under sheets weren’t tucked under the mattress and say bunched under the comforter.
