Helen is an exceptional host. She’s friendly, helpful, attentive and very accommodating to our needs. She is very very very fast in responding to our texts which shows that she is a professional in her work and she cares about her clients. She let us check in earlier and her place is in immaculate condition. There’s coffee, tea, salt and pepper if you wanna whip up a quick meal at the apartment. The location is quite central too. As we had big luggage we took Uber from via rail train station to the apartment and it cost us a mere CAD10.50,- Do yourself a favour, book this place asap 😊

Being a basement apartment, early morning you could hear the pipes in the building

Lovely apartment with everything you need! Everything was very clean and comfortable! Location is 15 minutes walking from the Parliament, very close to the Natural History museum and about 10 minutes to a very big supermarket! Loved it!

The upstairs neighbors were quite loud at times and could be heard from the downstairs apartment. They even woke me up once in the night.

Very central location, in 10-15 minutes by foot from the apartment you can reach most places of interest in Ottawa. The key pick-up and drop-off was very easy and fast. I even got the apartment a lot earlier in the day, right after noon. The apartment is quite big and has a kitchen, so it can even be used in longer stays.

Nothing could be improved upon, it was a delightful and convenient spot .

The location was perfect, close to everywhere we needed to go. Free parking was really appreciated. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, coffee, tea and a fully serviceable kitchen. We had a really restful night's sleep, and would, without question, return to this delightful space the next time we travel to Ottawa.

Nothing. It is a basement so I suppose if you wanted lots of light, it doesn’t have that but it was fine for us.

It is an incredible place, entirely in line with the advertisement. Everything is highly organized, clean, and tasteful. My experience was incredible at this place. It has all the amenities for an excellent stay, besides the hostess who was very kind in all contacts. I highly recommend staying at this space, and I would come back!

The noises coming from upstairs flat, sometimes I couldn’t sleep because of that and noises for a pipes going through the flat.

I noticed the cleaning fees was very high. Almost as high as price of the room. If that can be reduced, would be nice otherwise everything was lovely.

The location and ease of accessing the apartment. Everything was clearly labeled and there was no need to call the host for anything. I really liked that.

Parking is free - great - but the directions were confusing - need to say the car park is across the street but is accessed via a one way system so use your Sat nav to get there.

For us it was great

Everything was provided for you incl towels, toilet paper and shower gel and shampoo. The owners went the extra.mile. Do not be put off by the fact it is a basement apartment, it certainly did not feel it. We loved it. Better than all of the hotels we stayed in on our trip. The owners are fantastic. Extremely friendly and helpful in offering suggestions of where to go. Would happily stay here again. Thanks so much

The bed was not made up using a duvet, only sheets. However, spare blankets were provided.

The off-street parking was a selling point - free, large spaces and located just across the road. You are within easy walking distance of the majority of Ottawa's main attractions. The apartment is also very spacious.

The Studio was very clean, large and confortable. Free parking for the car. Great place to stay to visit the Nigara falls, 10 min by foot.
