Hospitality was horrible my kids were locked out in the rain and the owners locked the door turn the lights out and hid so that they couldn't even wait in the lobby after they maliciously maliciously tearing me apart because I complained once be so I could not get a room at the motel that they also owed a part of and didn't have the nurse tell me that they were going to tell them not to rent to me even though a gappy had already paid my room and gave them a deposit they waited until I got there and then they tossed my kids out of the room at first Canadian Inn told me they not going to rent to me and left my children out in the rain after telling them they could wait in the lobby but then ran and locked the lobby and hide I'm sure everybody can come to their own conclusion on why this is one of the worst nights in was the other motel and they also have Motel 8 I also have a customer at both motels that were with me and can attest to be a witness as to what they did to me if not for those two customers one at each Motel I probably would still be waiting out in the rain with my two children

Staff to over eager. We went to go park and the staff was standing right there rushing us to the room after they already told us at the front desk where to go. Then 10 minutes later, came back to confirm our name and license plate that was already done at the front desk. Once in the room it was very clear this was a 50 cent motel stay. Water damage and paint peeling all along the ceiling. Brackets missing from curtain on window. The entrance door to the room was a hollow mdf door, it did have a dead bolt so there is that. Lets step into the bathroom. It was nasty. The floor was dirty, the shower head was not an adjustable one so as soon as you turned the water on it sprayed right through the sliding door. The shower it self was old and the plastic was bubbled outwards. It totally ruined any mood we had going in and ended up leaving . The hardest 100.00 we have ever had to swallow. If your thinking about it just DONT.

Room has a smell of mildew/smoke. Went to the bathroom and saw lettuce in the toilet bowl. It also didn't flush well. The room itself echoes. Trains going through at night blowing their horns makes for a horrible sleep. Owner came out in pajamas to check us out which I thought was unprofessional

The layout was nice. It was available last minute after driving for 12 hours.

This is the very first time I have had an issue with a booking through Booking.com. I booked this on the way to Cornwall using my cell phone to what I was getting; King size bed, fireplace, balcony and microwave. Nice way to finish off our vacation to the east coast. We arrived and we given a discussing king bed, holes in the bedspread, no fireplace no nothing. We went out for supper and upon returning I told the lady the room was "totally unacceptable" and this wasn't the room I booked. She then said she had a room with 2 queen beds, we looked it was "better". The fact was we never did receive the room we booked. We believe that our room was on property in another building with 2 rooms, 1 had a wheelchair and we believe the other was ours. Staff need to READ what is being booked and make sure the customer gets what they paid for. Terrible stay!! Cannot give the place any positive comments. We complained to Booking.com and the salesperson said they would contact the motel/hotel. I believe we received $9.00US funds back for a bad experience from the motel/hotel.

The onsite supervisor (an older man) is incompetent and ought to be fired immediately. Were it not for a kindly support worker (a younger woman who managed to retrieve our 'reservation' that the supervisor had cancelled a day before to keep someone already in the room for another night, rearrange the room settings and give us a place, but who will be leaving permanently end of week), we would have been turned away by the supervisor - claiming that a refund was enough, even though no other beds in any another nearby location were available! Astonishing incompetence!

Very, very disappointed after many stays over years at what was a favorite motel! No water in shower forced me to shower at friends - embarrassing! Scent of cigarette smoke in non-smoking room! Attempts to report issues morning and night when at the motel found no one in office! Attempts to call OYO was met with constant re-routing to various impersonal pre-taped messages until I was connected to a Super-6 motel in another city! Frustratingly!! Finally, I was unable to get final statement when checking out because office unattended! All of it 'totally' unacceptable and unprofessional! I must reconsider my end of September visit to Cornwall and planned stay at First Canada Inn!!

The room did not smell clean. Bathroom needs updating. There was brewing kit but NO CUPS. But the bed was very comfortable. It was ok for a 1 night stop that's it

Bug in bed, something in tub,drool stains on pillows, had to ask to move room, new room spider webs in corner of the front door, could see marks of some sort on wall, floor dirty, ac dudnt work in the room so there was an old broken fan in the room that i had to prop up on my cooler. Oh and there was noone on site when we first got there had to call number posted and waited almost an hour fir them to come. By the time they came there were about 5 different families waiting. I had originally booked to return but I canceled and booked somewhere else. If I had time for photos I would have taken, was too busy visiting with family that live there.

The cleaning! Hair, dead insects in the bathroom and a clogged sink as long as a terrible smell. Stains on the white bedsheets, dirt on the carpet. Beard on the main table… For the check out.. nobody at the front desk at 8h30, Well, not a pleasant stay.

Staff RUDE .. charged me a gawd amount of money and didn't get what I reserved for .. my reservation said $100 cash deposit but yet they wanted a credit card with a $200 deposit then told me booking.com screws the website to not put what they ask of ...they charged me $400 for 3 nights that was supposed to be Queen rooms with queen beds and they were just double beds and claimed it was a premium room ... neighbors in next room ran and reved their cars till early hours (230am) and staff did NOTHING about it .. sat in my car for 3 hours getting my reservation correct with 3 special needs adult in my car waiting to get into rest .. Came in from Kitchener after a 7 hour drive and only had supper at 10pm .. just a rotten weekend caused by this company who shouldn't have staff like they did and treat paying customers the way they did. Had other family show up next day and only got charged $75 a night ... Will NEVER stay there again!!!!

Yeah rooms were gross, electrical issues making the room cold for the kids beds were doubles not queens no coffee pot for the coffee, it was a horrible stay besides ur staff, your property is gross not kid friendly nor safe.

The room are really far from the pictures. they was having blood splash on the wall and the bed sheets. Cigarettes burning everywhere on all the furniture. The face clothes was hide under the sink and it was some strange orange sauce or thing on it. You really not feel safe to be there. I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one. its very very dirt. Which is bad because the guys serve us was so nice and clean. Big surprise when you open the door. you try to open you’re eyes then because you can’t even realise that is possible.

Surprised at the hardwood floors instead of the usual carpet. I'm sure that helped in keeping it clean though. Room was chilly when we got there but warmed up quickly.

Location was easy to find. Check in was quick and easy. Room was super clean and nicely furnished. Bed was comfortable and not at all institutional like some hotels. Shower was a shower, not a bath with a shower head. Big a spacious too. Made getting up in the morning a delight.
