The apartment was the basement unit of a residential house on a cozy street. It does have some windows and its own entrance, which was quite nice. It was very clean. Overall, the place was really cozy and we had a wonderful stay. It's located about 30 - 40 minute walk from most places. We prefer walking so for us that is walking distance from everything. But if you are a more public transport person, there are street cars and buses and trains. The city does have really good public transportation so you are close to everything. And, we found really good restaurants nearby (a few mins walk). The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. And they left us chocolates and water and proper coffee (not those instant coffee packets hotels usuallu give 😂), which was super appreciated. The hosts also let us check-in early 😇 Overall, we had a lovely stay here and would absolutely recommend it.

Very spacious and clean property, in a walking distance from the very central parts of downtown. Very quiet and comfortable for a good night’s sleep. We had everything we needed in the flat, a coffee machine with some snacks provided, and enough appliances to prepare our meals. Gaby has been a great host and the communication was quick and efficient. Price is also unbeatable for the area. I fully recommend.

Nothing about the apartment, the stay was great. The only inconvenient was that, while the street where the house is located was nice and very good walking distance from the city center, the route to get home in the evening (not even that late, before 10 p.m.)if we wanted to walk, was not great. Of course this is no fault of the home owners just a bit unfortunate as the apartment was a great choice. We just ended up getting an Uber at night for 10$ on average, so it was fine in the end.

Place is well renovated, with all things needed for a good stay. We appreciated the drinking water and tea and coffee provided (thanks for that). We also liked the double entrance door which provided extra safety into the house. The room was really comfy, great size and just perfect for two people. We highly recommend this stay in Toronto. It was also very easy to get there from the Pearson's airport, just by taking the train from the airport to Union Station and then a quick Uber drive to the place. Thanks again for having us.

Large light airy space with comfortable bed and sofa. Gaby was very friendly and helpful. Secure parking spot. Walk to everything or take public transport. Lots of bakeries and cafes nearby.

The bed mattress was a bit hard but not terrible. Overall property owner communicated very well, facility was very clean. Location was great very walkable. Everything was within 1-2mile walking distance. No need to Uber. Toronto has great public transit.

The street and nearby alleyways we were told by police to be the most dangerous in the city. That said, we saw no outward issues and this posed no problem, as we had secure parking behind in the home’s garage and we drove where we needed. Transit is also only steps away. Only mentioning to keep in mind if you tend to walk most in your traveling and exploration, as I normally do.

Very charming little place, located as a separate apartment in the basement below the owners’ home. It was clean and centrally located! Parking was also fantastic. Locked and secured by owners’ home and steps from the apartment entrance. Hosts were incredibly kind and checked in that all was well and recommended where and what to explore in the city. We will definitely stay again!

Digging deep to find something we didn’t like…The bath/shower could benefit from a non-slip mat.

Easy key pad, good location for us, super-comfortable beds (gorgeous main bedroom), tv (with netflix, amazon prime etc), warm, spacious, plenty if towels, extra blankets… Flexible and responsive host.

Unfortunately, while the house is in a nice street, it's located near multiple shelters and the area of Dundas St. is full of homeless people sleeping in the street / hanging around while drunk or worse. Just around the corner, in one of the little access streets between houses, we bumped into a person shooting drugs. Having said that, we didn't have any issues because we mainly used Uber to travel to the city center and street car 506, on the opposite side of Dundas, which looks less problematic.

Gabby sent us the instructions to access in advance and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. The entrance to the apartment is surveilled by cameras and there is an external gate, opened by password. The living room has a dining table, sofa, big TV (with Netflix access) and a kitchen area with coffee machine, sink and a fridge. It would be extremely simple to make this area more efficient by adding a toaster and microwave so that guests can warm up their breakfast if needed.
