The breakfast was fantastic! - Offering a choice of three homemade breakfast meals, which were delicious! We couldn't help but purchase some extra snack yummies, which were well worth every cent in deliciousness!! The staff was fun and friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff/ owner are super friendly, the location is great and the view from the balcony is awesome. We also enjoyed using the sauna and bbq in the backyard.

I loved everything also have to understand that this is one of the best prices in radium, but I have to point out a few things. One at the breakfast I wish the coffee was a little bit better. 2. Sauna door needs to be fixed. All the amazing warm temperature escapes. I did manage to close it tight, but it required an effort. It went all the way up to 75° not great but also not bad.

This place is amazing everything from top to bottom, I’m happy I discovered this place. There’s a beautiful sauna, and a light breakfast down the street their sandwiches. Amazing.

Tv'. Didn't seem to work, but no matter, I don't watch it anyhow. Umm, Lucier maybe should have a sign it's 4x4 in the winter season. All good though. Lol

Loved the '50's Cafe. I have a vintage car as well! They worked with my wife's diet needs.

The hotel is right off the main highway so some road noise could be heard. The hotel itself doesn't have any breakfast facilities. Instead, all occupants are given a voucher for a breakfast sandwich and coffee or tea at a local bakery a few blocks away.

We were travelling with our cat and our dog so we needed a pet friendly hotel. The Gateway Hotel had several dogs staying overnight along with our own, but the hotel was incredibly quiet. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the Wi-Fi signal was strong. There was also an area at the back of the hotel where you could walk your dogs.

breakfast was a snack not a continental breakfast (500 m from the motel in a café) very loud because of the trucks (because of the temporarily closure of Highway 1)

Lots of highway noise and you can hear people coming up the stairs or walking above you as the rooms have minimal sound proof. If you are a light sleeper or looking for a long stay, this might not be the best place.

Great location to walk or get to the things we wanted to do. Comfortable bed and good value compared to Banff and Canmore. The addition of a small free breakfast was a nice perk.

The ladies that run this place were phenomenal. I got rained out camping in Banff and was freezing. I had to leave 2 days early and they accommodated me moving my reservation up even with 2 dogs and they gave me a bigger room and did not charge me more. I was so grateful to have a nice hot shower and slept forever on the comfy bed. I loved the special touches of the great smelling soaps and cute flowers on the railing outside the rooms. Such an amazing place and I will definitely stay here again.

The only disadvantage was the noise during the night. We should've taken the fan system off the window and close it, as from time to time big trucks passing by the road were really loud and I woke up.

Breakfast was amazing, the café where you go is so authentic, and the food was superb. The room was clean and comfortable, I really enjoyed sitting on the patio at night. We used the sauna and it was fun.
