As the place is rather old, walls are thin and there is no elevator to bring up heavy luggages (our host was kind to assist us)

Located in a quiet part of the city where the restaurant and tourism office is within 5 minutes walk. Our very friendly French speaking host made us fresh breakfast which is far cry from buffet breakfast. The rooms are based on various continent theme and we had Africa which is spacious and comfortable. Free parking is available on site.

The cozy B&B was spick and span, and the hearty breakfast was excellent. Normand, the owner/cook/housekeeper, obviously takes pride in his work, and it shows in every aspect of his B&B. Plus, he has a great sense of humour and was a pleasure to chat with -- he had plenty of insights to share about Jonquière and its surroundings. I would definitely stay here again!

We are sad we only stay one night

Bed side lights need to be brighter. I couldn't read easily with my old eyes

Great for our one night stay. Very little English spoken so be prepared great breakfast. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area. We had the Africa room. It was very roamy. Comfy bed.

The Egypt room is beautifully decorated but the bed is VERY firm - if you like a softer bed, keep that in mind!

The building is beautiful and located right on Jonquière’s main street. Breakfast was excellent and the host was very kind. The room where you have breakfast is really lovely, with so much art!

The only thing that fell a tiny bit short was the comforter - it was a bit scratchy on top so not super comfortable to sit on the bed, but it was very soft underneath.

The breakfast was delicious - little perfect touches! I wish I could bring that coffee home with me!

super!!!! only thing was that was a bit stuffy for us. owner did put air on, but was not enough so we opened the window and was better. no complains at all. food was more than excellent and accomodations super! excellent host.

The location was good with choice of places to eat and drink in Jonquiere. We particularly liked Hopera for craft ales. The accommodation is quirky and the host is really friendly - his breakfasts are amazing.

When we arrived we had to call the host because nobody was at the door. The keys were in the letter box but as soon we called him everything went smoothly and easy to access. A bit noisy in the morning.

A digital clock is always appreciated when you get up in the middle of the night. Stairs could be a problem for some, though we were fine.

Decor was interesting.Everything was very comfortable and clean. Excellent full breakfast. The host was so accommodating helping us with dinner reservations, in spite of very limited English, we had a great time at the microbrewery.

Maybe a TV in the room or a microwave available for guests. also, a bigger sign would help avoid driving up and down that hill.

Owner Normand offers a pick up service and it was great to see him at the VIA Rail station following the earlier snow. I stayed in the themed Egypte Room which was very comfortable with a smart bathroom. The Gite is within walking distance of microbreweries offering food and other restaurants all of which were busy on a Friday evening. Next morning the breakfast was plentiful, refreshing and really tasty - yoghurt with granola followed by a cheese and ham omelette with accompanying fruit and toast. Thanks Normand for a lovely stay, all too short and for taking me to the coach station in yet more snow.
