There was a bit of a mix-up about what room we were assigned to, but this got sorted out quite quickly.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly, accessible, very helpful. They were able to accommodate our dogs. Jacuzzi type tub was most welcome after a long day of driving.

Not much to say here, the room completely exceeded my expectations.

Really impressed with the room, fresh paint and carpet gave it an updated and modern feel. Very clean and very comfortable stay and nice and quiet which was great as I think it was booked out. Basic breakfast to get you on the road. Would recommend.

Not much food options for dinner with a shack within walking distance. Not really a complaint considering it was such a small town.

Nice comfortable large rooms. Staff were extremely friendly as well. Breakfast was good too. Was a little surprised how good the facilities were considering it was such a small town.

No lift. Fortunately only one flight of stairs but when you are getting older still a struggle. A staff member assisted us going up but no one was available when we came down. Perhaps this should be made clear when booking so people can know to ask for a downstairs room.

Easy to find. Friendly helpful staff. The first and only accommodation which provided crockery and glassware and steel cutlery in the complementary breakfast room. Also glassware I the room. I hate eating and drinking from cardboard or even worse plastic containers which are prolific in Canada. Complementary continental breakfast had plenty to choose from including snacks which were available to take with you.

The room smelled, it wasn’t a hotel room or smoke smell but it was some other type of smell, more like stale humid mild sweat like smell. One of the trash bins had garbage in it. The sliding door did not lock. Tv wasn’t turning on and a/c wasn’t working but I called staff to helped me. The tv was fixed but he had to unplug and plug back in. The a/c was turned on but to turn it on a switch had to be flicked, the switch was by the entrance of the room while the a/c was at the back wall of the room by the sliding door. There wasn’t the usual room manual and no directions on how to get the a/c working or that a switched on the wall had to be turned on. He bathroom smelled bad, like pee.

The service was good. The location was good. For a small town it was good to be next to a food shack, a gas station with a big store with food item, souvenirs, water and more. Loved the view of the mountains. Even though it was close to the highway it wasn’t bad for noise. Had good sleep. The continental breakfast was simple but very good. Nothing bad to say about it. The sitting space was a bit small so when it got busy some people sat in the lobby couch. Not big deal. The hot tub was great. Seemed clean, had a shower and a bathroom, plenty of towels, a table and two chairs. It was great after long hikes. Service was good, nothing bad to say about it except the cleaning has to be improved.

Arrived around 6pm and had washing to do after a week on a cruise ship. The staff took our washing and did it for us. The service was excellent. It was Sunday and only one place open in town to eat. That was a diner which again was great. Couldn’t finish the meals they were that big.
