Everything was perfect!

This is no doubt one of the best places I have ever stayed! It is a beautiful place, in a beautiful situation, with stunning views. Cathy's breakfast and attention to detail are second to none. Highly recommended!

Absolutely nothing - thanks!

We had the "deluxe suite with kingsize-bed" a super nice bathroom, private whirlpool bathtub and mountain water so soft it takes ages to wash your soap away :-D. The room alone is already really spacious. On top it's sharing a kitchenette and a large living room with others. Most to be noted is the modern room interieur which we loved a lot and - of course - Cathy and Bruce! Thanks so much for taking care of us and for the always absolutely outstanding breakfast.

Our hosts , Cathy and Bruce, gave us a very warm welcome. The Apartment was decorated with Love and Detail It was a wonderful Place in the forrest surrounded by trees. It was so quiet, Perfect for relax. Last but Not least: DON‘t MISS the Breakfast. This has to be mentioned: Cathy is a fantastic Cook . The Two invited us for Breakfast in their open kitchen/livingroom with a fantastic few. So, Don t miss Golden Acres, it s a wonderful Place Arnold and Ellen from Germany

25 minutes to the ski hill wasn't my 1st choice, but we truly lucked out with Cathy & Bruce's place Golden Acres Mountain Lodge. We needed our car

Cathy & Bruce are wonderful hosts! Their house is so fantastic, our accommodation was beyond our expectations. Everything we might want, need or wish for was provided. And Cathy made exquisite breakfasts for us each morning, in keeping with our dietary restrictions & preferences. (Skiing was beyond expectations as well!) Quality bed, sheets, towels, & oh so quiet. We loved being there.

Golden Acres is a beautiful lodge with convenient access to Golden and Kicking Horse. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the space and hot tub. The hosts are friendly and the breakfasts are exceptional.

Needed more snow! :)

The lodge was exactly what my husband and 8 year old son were looking for! Quiet, calm and surrounded by nature at it's best. The views of the mountains were beautiful, and the location was remote, yet only a 15 minute drive from the town of Golden, and 30 min from Kicking Horse mountain. Bruce and Cathy were lovely! They provided help as needed, and made us feel at home. There lodge was exactly what one would expect when looking for a Rocky Mountain getaway! Cathy is an incredible chef, and made some of the most delicious and innovative breakfasts we ever had!

The Lodge and our hosts Cathy & Bruce were just amazing. The breakfast was delicious and so special. Everything was spotlessly clean and cozy. The whole house was beautifully decorated for Christmas - we felt welcome and at home from the first moment. The Lodge is located on a hill, surrounded by mountains and forest. It's about a 15-minute drive from Golden Downtown. We loved the peace and quiet (sitting in a hot tub while looking at the snowy mountain peaks), while being able to go out for dinner and walks by car.

The location was not near any of the main park attractions.

Breakfast was 5 star. The hosts lived there also and are very accommodating and friendly. The bathroom was beautiful but sometimes you had to wait for the hot water.

We loved our stay here - it has been the highlight of our 4 week trip travelling around BC and Alberta. The hosts were very welcoming and always made an effort to chat. The location and lodge were beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. It was close to Golden which has lots of lovely restaurants, shops and fun things to do. We enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife in the garden! The highlight was definitely the amazing breakfasts and we both couldn't wait until the morning!! Thank you so much again.

Our stay at Bruce and Cathy's lodge was amazing!! The property is beautiful and everywhere you look there are lovely details that make the place so special. The deco isba combination of traditional ans modern and everything was good quality. The bed is super comfy and the kitchen is very complete. We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone! If you are lucky like us, you may spot a bear as wel!

I can’t think of thing I would change.

We had an exceptional experience at Golden Acres! Their home is stunning, our room was huge, incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. Cathy is an amazing chef and breakfast was an experience. Had I known how amazing our stay would be I would have booked more than 2 nights. We can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay with our hosts Cathy and Bruce. The accommodation is very nicely located a bit off the road. The house is on the edge of the forest and is beautiful! We had booked the deluxe room, which consisted of 3 rooms. There is also a sauna, a whirlpool and a small tiki bar. Breakfast is prepared every morning by Cathy and tasted wonderful! Thanks again to Cathy and Bruce for a very nice and beautiful stay!
