The room was facing the highway but could still see the mountains.

The bed was comfortable. The room was a good size for 2 people. The pool area had a hot tub where one part was indoors and the other part was outdoors.

Rooms were not soundproof and we were right next to the elevator which meant early wake ups from kiddos.

Location was great for walking around town, saving from needing to find parking.

When we stayed, our child got ill and we needed help at the front desk (1am) and there was a sign there there are no overnight staff. What a disappointment that no one could help us if it was after regular hours. This is Canada… in Asia even a lower budget hotel have overnight staff.

The washer in our room was missing the door so couldn’t be used. There was pop or something sprayed all up the wall above the door into the queen bedroom.

The location to where we needed to go was convenient. The views were spectacular. The pool and hot tub were clean.

Proximity to everything! Low maintenance and friendly staff. Everything was clean. Rooms had what was advertised. Electrified parking was a huge bonus during the cold snap.

10AM checkout is early. When I requested an 11am checkout at the front desk, the answer was no. This was surprising to me given that two people infront of me were requesting the same thing, and they both got approved. The hotel was not busy at all when we went so I wasn't quite sure why everyone else was being approved for an 11am checkout, yet it was a flat out no for us.

I do love the layout of the rooms, and I think overall it's a great hotel for families.

The resort overall is quite run down as other reviews have stated. The rooms definitely need to be repaired, for example, the cupboards didn't close properly in the kitchen, the flooring looked like it had water damage and was scratched and coming apart. We also didn't have a complete set of any dishes, with the little variety there was. And although we were able to get the park pass each day, there was only 1 available for the entire resort, and I expected there to be more when it is advertised, along with the ability to borrow snowshoes, etc.

Location was amazing, and the view of the mountains was unbelievable. We booked the 2 bedroom suite, which is always convenient when you are traveling with your family. The underground parking was a bonus, especially as there was an artic blast that came through at the end of stay, dropping the temperature to - 40! The pool area was great for the kids, and they enjoyed the slide and outdoor/indoor hot tub. It was also convenient that the resort had a complimentary park pass you could use each day.

Reception Staff were a little uncommunicative, we were not offered any housekeeping services, but others traveling with us were. We did request rooms together (months ago & again at check in). We were given rooms at opposite ends of the building.

Awesome breakfast, honestly the staff in the restaurant provided the best service, just the lack from the front desk let it down. Great pool and spa the rooms were good

The second building, it Looked like a dungeon. It was very dark and had an odor. A mirror in the room would have been nice, too. I didn't complain when I was there because it was the cheapest price in town.

Rooms were very comfortable. However our check in was a horrible experience. We showed up at the check in time and they told us it would be an extra 20 minutes to clean the room as they were short staffed. We ended up waiting in the lobby for 2 hours with our newborn baby and toddler while they got our room ready. No manager or anyone to help us other than desk staff on a Saturday evening.
