Back door didn’t lock properly. Desk chair was broken and the property owner (who is the front desk)refused to change and after we explained him we had a infant who almost fall from it, he gave us another one (we brought to the room). The owner doesn’t want to be bothered, which includes any kind of communication. He refused to talk to a group who wanted to book a room directly with him, ignored us when we tried to extend the stay at the front desk (we ended up doing it trough Booking.com ) and refused to talk with a man who wanted to book a long stay there. In order to communicate with him and any service needed will need some time and energy.

Many reviews mention issues with the hotel keeping their security deposit. We didn’t have this issue, the deposit was returned quickly upon checkout - good experience overall.

A long ways from the city when arriving from Montreal. It took almost an hour to drive around to get to it. The neighborhood was sketchy and noisy with people loitering around the property all night long.

After hours service was good to receive me at 2am.

The reception upon arrival was not very friendly, but it was very practical when it came to handing over the room.

The room is suitable for resting and the price is excellent, very accessible, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom a little small but adequate, the area was very quiet

The comforter Looked like it hadn't been washed in years. The microwave was very dirty. There was no toilet paper and no accessories in the room for us to use.

The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in was a very nice man. That's what made us stay as far as the room. I was disappointed it really didn't have anything in the room For us to use and there were Very few stations on the t v Because they were french stations, that's not a bonus

It is a hotel in which you can spend one night if you have no other option. - The room was not clean in all areas: bed and bathroom were ok but the kitchen was not. There were leftovers in the sink and the microwave. - Humid smell in the bathroom - The bathroom sink is not in the bathroom but in a corridor leading to the door used by cleaning staff. - If you don't have a car, it is quite easy to come by bus but very difficult to leave as you have no bus in the other direction nearby. You have to walk 20 minutes to get one. - It was the cheapest I found for this particular night. However, I slept in a way better place for the same price the night before in QC centre.

At arrival we were under impression the left hand didn't know what the right hand does. Lack of communication between receptionist and owner?! I do not expect turn down service, but since it was -10celsius outside and we finally got the room, the heating was off and the room was at 13 Celsius...so until the little heater did his job we stayed in jackets in the room. Beds were not comfortable to US, so, rather subjective due to everbodies needs, but very very soft mattress did not contribute well to back and neck pain. The bathroom itself didn't have a heater inthere, so, when the room itself has 13C, imagine the bathroom with floor tiles. No Toilet seat COVER, very tight, and smelled rather moist. The whole room smelled rather moist like not used for quite a while. No Waterkettle to boil a cup of tea it something like that the cost of 80$ per night for the whole "kit" did not get justified. 😑 I stayed at AirB&Bs or generic B&B for less money and better conditions.

Location, quiet, Food and Drink options fairly close by car (5-10min tops)!
