No toilet, would have been really good to have at least flush toilet. The inside is clean, but I just can't stand the smell of the toilet once opened. I understand about the shower, the drive to Jasper Hostel is fine, but to wake up in the middle of the night due to call of nature, but just trying to hold it because I don't like to go dispose in a smelly pit is very uncomfortable 😪. To have a flush toilet on site will be 5-star.

Common dining area is clean. Jennifer is very accommodating.

Slightly later checkout would be nice.

The property was in a lovely spot close to nature. The fire pit was sensational. Lots of laughs and good times. Even saw the northern lights. The hosts T and Lou were superb, very helpful and social.

I couldn't fault my stay here.... not even having a shower, it didn't bother me in the slightest!

There isn't anything to not like! I had such a great stay here and Jeff is so friendly, kind, helpful and really nice! The beds are comfy, the facilities are great, takes everything back to basics but in such a good way. Everyone that comes and stays has a great vibe and are there for the love of the Rockies. I cannot wait to come back!!

There should be a bus or a shuttle at least twice a day.

The manager went the extra mile for me, offering me food when I did not have. Really appreciated.

The curtains between the bunk beds could be a tad thicker but that's a nit pick

I loved the atmosphere and the fact everyone was so communal. We all cooked and ate in the same space and people were friendly and welcoming.

As advertised, no running water, you just have to accept that and adapt, it is made as convenient as possible in spite of it.

It should be taken into account that there are no showers and the toilets are dry. However, the hostel fairly points this out.

It is a hostel, but of a very good standard. I appreciated the possibility of using the common room where everything needed for cooking was. It was nice to spend an evening with people travelling around Canada in the same room. No need to worry.

The snoring dorm mates were a bit of a bother but that's what one can expect at any hostel. Nothing to do with the establishment itself.

A very warm and welcoming hostel in the wild that makes you forget it's off grid by how well organized and maintained it is. You don't have to relinquish much comfort thanks to their solar-powered system. The common room and kitchen is very well equipped and homy.

Obviously being a shared place and if you are a light sleeper you have a little trouble sleeping. However, there is a fixed schedule from 11 pm to 7 am where silence must be respected.

Everything is very clean, the place is very comfortable and perfectly organized; It also has very nice details in the decoration. For our first time in a hostel, we loved it.
