We didn’t like our first floor (basement) room with a noisy dehumidifier, a heater that constantly turned off and on and a TV that rivalled some of the worst we’ve ever seen in a hotel room.

We liked the location, the staff, the cleanliness, the bed & heated bathroom floor.

there was no housekeeping for the duration of our stay. we stayed two nights and housekeeping didn’t show up on any of those days

location is perfect. building is old and there’s a bit of musty smell but it’s kept clean

big cobweb in hall outside room on the ceiling; bathtub faucet very difficult to operate; both kitchen sink and bathtub VERY slow to drain as if clogged

The waiter ( forgot his name) was an older gentleman. He was very quick, and friendly.

Eggs were cold, staff need to close lid when they walk away from the station.

The rooms and facilities could use a bit of updating. They seem a bit "dated". Stunning location and great staff, just needs a bit of a newer look.

NO ELEVATORS OR ANY KIND OF HELP TO TAKE OUR LUGGAGE OR OUR BOXES TO OUR ROOM - VERY HARD FOR MY WIFE AND I BEING SENIORS. OUR FRIENDS HAD TO HELP US WHEN WE ARRIVED AND ALSO WHEN LEFT. GOING UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS WAS VERY, VERY DIFICULT

Kind of outdated interior. Wall plugs hard to access for big power adaptors (obstructed by furniture). Kind of pricey for the class of room. No option to book private time in fitness area during covid.

The room was very spacious and the balcony was a nice feature to have on a warm late summer night. Environment is quiet and relaxing. Everything was clean.

The entire resort inside and out is in a state of disrepair. Our room had unfinished drywall in the bathroom. There was a hole in the bathtub next to the drain. Peeling drywall next to heating system No knob on bedside table to pull out shelf and when I hit it open it was sticky and dirty. Furniture very rough and table falling apart Outside stairs to beach were uneven and falling apart. Front handicapped entrance doors not functioning. Garbage around resort not picked up over 3 days we were there

Wish all amenities could be available, but Covid sucks. Not your fault!

Love the location and the staff is amazing. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are super comfy! The pools and hottub are pretty awesome too. Sadly, the sauna was closed during our visit. Beautiful grounds, and the food at The Birches is delicious!

Too expensive, smaller rooms, Hotel needs major renovation, it looks and feels old compared to the other hotels. Breakfast not included in the price. Even the $17/per adult buffet breakfast doesn't include anything more than basic items

The room is outdated and smells.... There is no room service to change towels or remove trash from the rooms The pool vinyl is pretty dirty The whole building including the restaurant is seriously understaffed There is no elevator to reach different floor so you have to carry your belongings

The property has a great potential, nice grounds, however not maintained properly. We liked the pools and the beach, the restaurant on site and the canoes and kayaks. Staff members mostly friendly
