I like the view from our room and the people.

The breakfast is good. The water for the show was yellow for the first 2-3 minutes. The location is far but beautiful and peaceful.

Thé comfort is good but don’t expect something fancy.

Beautiful Area. Very Typical Ranch. You ll feel the Canadian experience in the midst of a Magnificent nature. The common area are cosy and well Équiped. Wifi works well. The breakfast was great. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I wish we had done our homework better and realized beforehand that the ranch does not serve dinner, and that the nearest restaurants are a significant drive away down occasionally difficult mountain roads. Maybe the management could more explicitly explain this circumstance to potential guests.

We very much liked the casual and congenial atmosphere of the guest ranch, and enjoyed hiking nearby.

It was a little out of the way, however that is what drew us to it. 40+ minutes to Jasper but the drive alone is worth it. The nearby town was a great spot for dinner, not touristy at all! And they have a Beaver Boardwalk! 🦫

We loved the setting, the open lodge and use of the space was a great break in the middle of our journey. The rooms were just what we needed and the hot breakfast was a bonus!

quite far from Jasper town , esp at night, one has to be very careful driving through the extreme dark with no street lights Beds were very squeaky and extremely uncomfortable for 2 people to share the double bed

the only point you have to note is the route to there. The road after the river is quite raw and with lots of holes so it needs extra care when driving but it should be fine for all compact car. Though i am a bit worried when i first drove there.

breakfast is really really great!!!!!! the room is nice and also the lobby and atmosphere. Others are perfect ^^ a really nice place to stay if you like the nature

Shower water pressure was a bit weak, but given all the great things this place had to offer, I can live with this

How organized everything is. Loved that the trail head is righ out the door of our room and that they put clear signs on the trail. Breakfast was amazing and there were always fruits and snack available. Loved all the home made food. I loved how open and quiet it was around the ranch.

The beds weren't very comfortable and it can be a bit noisy.

Breakfast was great. It's 20 min from Hinton, very isolated, so we could see the stars very clearly. The common room is very comfy and with a piano.

I liked everything but this property would not suit someone expecting slick, soulless, corporate accommodation.

Historic property in beautiful landscape. Generous and varied breakfast included. Convenient location with many hikes starting at ranch. Quiet with fire pits and horses grazing in pasture. Nice people - both guests and owners. Great communal room in lodge with coffee tea and snacks.

My only recommendation would be to cut the grass around the lodge. It was quite long and when we arrived it didn’t appear welcoming or well kept. We also would have liked to have a closer look at the original log cabins from 1935, but the grass was not cut there either.

It was so quiet, amazing views, rustic feel to the whole lodge. Breakfast was great and the baked goods available all day were perfect coming back after a day of exploring the area. The rooms were well stocked with extra pillows and blankets, and we soaked in the solitude with no televisions. It was a wonderful stay during our visit to Alberta!

I wanted to love it but the stairs coming in are hazardous. The room was very hot but we went and found a fan. They offer breakfast but only hot from breakfast from 8:30-9:30. It looks like it’s seen better days and they are struggling to stay in business.

Liked it being secluded. View was lovely. The only staff we met were very friendly.
