They should advertise they do not have pool time available. We traveled for march break with 2 children. Multiple complaints the hotel was booked solid for kids to swim. We managed to find a local wellness center with a pool. I would not have booked a hotel with a pool with no swim time.

There were several marks on the walls throughout the room and bathroom. The pool room also had paint falling from the walls.

The beds were comfy! The waterslide was great for the kids while the hot tub suited the Moms.

The location of our hotel was excellent in its environs. With the addition of area-wide, newly constructed commercial buildings, we also had shopping, errand and eatery choices aplenty. We arrived with a pre-approved, later, hassle free check-in. It was just before a province wide snow storm. On alert, the hotel staff, especially the front desk, warmly welcomed guests. The team, including food services, acted like clockwork with genuine friendly Pictou County-style charm. Information, breakfast replenishment service, whatever we found we needed; plus values all-in-all were met and/or exceeded. Simply A1 and ever-so-ready; this would sum it up nicely. Even the snow removal on the site was well executed both on the main road, hotel entrance areas and footways. Once inside, we were coming and going easily in a well designed building. In a breezy locale, it had ample front lawn space and parking areas. The larger room with an additional dining/seating area was a good lay-out. The room was stocked full. But if we had been in need of any related housekeeping service, the hotel team was never far from task. Enhanced COVID-19, health and safety measures were in the plus ranges, too. Inviting us back, we will be there soon.

Window was hard to close. Road noise from Highway was loud due to cheap windows. Curtains didn't close because heating/AC unit was under window. TV small. Cable static. Remote for tv not good. PS booking.com review section where I'm typing now...really sucks! Keeps moving cursor to home/start of text box...yeah complaining here ..

Small thing - but the shampoo and conditioner in the shower were down to about an inch or less which makes it impossible to pump anything out, and you cannot get the things out, and of course by the time you realize this it is too late to call the front desk for more! I mentioned this to the guy at the front desk when I checked out, and suggested the cleaning staff need to be told that an inch in the bottom is not sufficient and they should fill these things up; I did not get the impression that the person at the front desk was going to do anything with my feedback; he did not seem to care, beyond suggesting that I should have called the front desk (which clearly you cannot do when you're already in the midst of your shower!).

Breakfast was excellent - nicely done with the egg dish and sausage, and it arrived very quickly.

Location - Excellent. Right off the highway, so many stores around, awesome Pizza place right opposite Facilities - Excellent. Nice pool, Fitness room Parking - Ample parking and free Breakfast - Good but To-go though. We were actually driving to Halifax but were stuck in midst of Hurricane Ida and decided to break our journey and stay here! Was an awesome experience!
