I had to ask the person in reception about instructions which are basic to provide during check in . Generally the staff at the reception at HO are cold . Lacking the classic hotel hospitality.

It is a smaller version of the usual Holiday inns that I usually stay at but same set up . Rooms clean and spacious . Offers A proper buffet breakfast . Free parking , I like that it’s close to the Promenades Gatineau .

Pull out doesn’t have drapes sheets on it. No extra blankets or set of sheets for the pull out. Two TVs one control that doesn’t work. So basically we just manually open the TV and whatever that is showing there we just get stuck watching it.

While they initially appeared inviting and cozy, they had an unusual flaw. Whenever anyone moved around on the bed, there was a loud plastic rubber sound that emitted from the mattress. This constant noise disrupted the tranquility of the room and, unfortunately, made the beds much less comfortable than they should have been. It was an unexpected and frustrating issue that detracted from an otherwise comfortable stay. Another feature that left me disappointed was the hotel's swimming pool. I was looking forward to a relaxing swim, but upon entering the pool area, I noticed that the water was unusually cold. The temperature was so low that it was uncomfortable to swim in, and my family and I couldn't enjoy this amenity as we had hoped. It was disappointing to have this experience, especially when access to a well-maintained pool is a common expectation at hotels.

The only feedback I would say is that the cleaning could be better. When we checked in, we had sweep our room.There were a few dusts and hair on the floor. But overall a great stay. Would book here again 👌🏼

Easy check in and out. Emilie was great. She was friendly and helpful with any of our request and inquiries. Hotel was in a good location for the event we needed to go to… the taxis were super accessible. One of the main reasons I booked HI was the FREE BREAKFAST! I did not have to worry about my children’s breakfast.
