How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The pool had too much chlorine.

Loved the breakfast variety and how it was pet friendly. I didn’t bring my pet but just knowing he’d be welcome I may the next time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved that the pool was open late!

This is not about the hotel at all.. its the about other customers who even when gettting a treat bag with poop bags included and STILL don't pick up after their dogs, what more can the hotel do?
Super friendly staff, clean and comfy beds, sparkling bathroom, pet friendly at no extra charge... Good breakfast options. Fabulous. Would recommend.

Nothing really. The location is not close to my final destination (my new house), but that's it.
The breakfast was great, the room was modern and well apportioned. The pool area was good for our kids.

The pool seemed to have very high chlorine levels which made our eyes smart and aggravated our son's excema. The a/c in the breakfast area and lobby was too cold for us! These wouldn't stop us returning
Our kids loved the indoor pool with a slide and splash equipment. The beds were really comfy. Location is quiet, you have to drive to get anywhere, but Dartmouth crossing is close and it worked out well for us. Kids also loved the breakfast - cheese omelette and pancakes went down well. The options are a bit limited but it was fine for us.

More selection at the hotel store there wasn't much to grab for our late night movie and I was disappointed there wasn't a lot on hand, just a lot of the same stuff. Also I went out to my car to grab something later at night and i noticed a make up brush on the carpet And then checking out at 11 AM it was still on the carpet so I picked it up and threw it in the garbage and just wondering how many staff members walk by it And didn't notice it and I'd say it's kind of hard to notice it was blue on a black carpet.
Splash pad was a hit with the kids, the breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. The pancake machine was cool. Rooms where clean and the bed was perfect for this mom with Abad back. The fireflies out side at night where really cool and so close to dartmouth crossing.

Too far to walk anywhere if you don’t have transportation.
I was booked to stay at the Holiday Inn for six nights. Unfortunately, because I rely on public transportation, this hotel was not suitable for me and I only stayed one night. It’s ideal if you drive, but it is out-of-the-way and not near any grocery stores for one to walk to.

at check in staff made it seem like housekeeping was not available because of Covid they were only doing towel drop offs etc. but we seen the housekeeping staff cleaning other rooms. if it’s not available that is totally fine but should have been reflected in the price.
the pool was a huge hit with our kids and the breakfast is amazing for being complimentary
