Very bad sound proofing with the room nextdoor, I could hear them just like if they were in my room.

The rooms are not soundproof so you can hear everyone next to you and above you, wall outlets for plugs took much longer to charge devices. Bringing a portable charger is a good idea. Wifi was very slow and used data for most of the time in the room.

Our room was right by the rear entrance and elevator so it was a little noisy.

The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It was a great location, within walking distance of all the places we were going to. Parking was free and easy to get to. Check in and out was seamless.

The pool didn’t open until 10:30 which kind of ruined our morning plans. Our kids really wanted to swim but that’s a long time to wait around in the morning before swimming. We ended up having breakfast while we waited but still had an hour more to wait. I suggest opening it earlier for families and others who want to use the pool and sauna at the beginning of their day. We probably would have been able to check out earlier if the pool was open earlier too Also it would be helpful to have a list in the lobby of what local services are closed. We walked all the way to the rail tram and it was closed

An improvement that could be made is to consider including breakfast in the package and providing easier access to food-warming facilities on the first floor.

Although I didn't have breakfast at the Holiday Inn, I must say the guy at the desk was so friendly and nice! He even gave me vouchers for the Skylon to enjoy the view of the falls, which turned out to be an excellent experience.

Restaurant in the hotel is lousy. Overpriced and cooked with apathy, where nothing seems particularly good. Order bacon well done and it comes in at maybe medium. Fish and chips shockingly tough. Booze overpriced. This poor restaurant has driven us away from what is otherwise a great hotel.

Great swimming pool and hot tub. Nice rooms with decent facilities in them. Location hard to beat!

Our room on the ground floor was very noisy as you could hear everything from outside the room as well as the room beside us - not unbearable just annoying, hotel restaurant “Coco’s” is horrible and over priced lol

The soundproofing between rooms is not good, especially the ones with a connecting door. Huge improvements are needed there. The parking is also a game of chance to park near the hotel as it is shared with private parking that often has random cars not related to the hotel. The sheets could have been without stain, and the mattress felt like it's been there 10 years (Room 302). It was too soft and unevenly so. Not a great combo with very soft pillows. The closet was strange as it was almost impossible to hang clothes due to an error in closet design. The heating system also had a faulty thermostat that didn't stop after meeting the asked temperature. The most frustrating part is that the complimentary breakfast was put into question. I had to pull out the Booking app to show them it was included. Honestly, a huge letdown, and I felt this hotel was about nickel and diming people after this event.

The location and speed of check-in were great. The value is probably one of the best in town, honestly. The common areas were clean and welcoming. The elevators are quick and the hotel restaurant was good too. The restaurant staff was very kind and friendly. The rooms were clean overall and the furniture was new. Small gym on-site and many other services are available.
