Everything, Karen our hostess was just amazing, helpful with suggestions of where to go, the most amazing breakfast and suggested we take leftovers for lunch and invited out daughter who was living in Banff over to have breakfast with us every day. Just an amazing stay. Couldn't speak highly enough of this stay. Location was just off the main street. Exceptional value for money

It seems the B&B is coming to the end of its years and is a bit worn for wear. I loved the retro elements, but it's clear that some improvements would need to be made to maintain it. Also, be careful with talking about politics of any kind. It's Alberta, after all, and some are prone to believing in conspiracies and adopting extreme views it seems. Also be aware when booking that while you may get a private bathroom, it may not be ensuite.

Loved the location and coziness of the B&B. Breakfast was so yummy and the host(ess) was friendly. Unfortunately, I was sick while there, but it was a great place to heal. Very comfortable and you could really sink into the place. Very calming meditative music is played in the living room at all times.

The guest keeper of the house was the nicest person you could wish for. She loves her job and does everything to ensure you have a nice stay. The breakfast is amazing and the room was cozy. It felt like being at home!

There was nothing we didn't like about this place.

My husband and I stayed here on the first part of our holiday. Karen was an amazing host, super friendly and helpful. The traditional Banff house was lovely with lots of character. Our room was comfy, and we instantly felt like we were at home. The breakfast was a great addition to our stay. Karen makes homemade muffins every morning and was kind enough to allow us to take some breakfast items for lunch also. We would highly recommend this accommodation. My husband and I will definitely be back.

Great location, great host, and the breakfast is really good. Home-made muffins with eggs!! I missed breakfast a few times because I was out for a conference (which also served breakfast), Karen packed the muffins for me which I then could eat for lunch. Also, one was allowed to pack a small lunch to take with you for the day. These extra services make this a great place/bargain. Great!

Having a breakfast at the lodge is an excellent top up. The host is amazing. She explains all the famous sight seeing locations without hesitation. Cherry on the top is her dog Taniya ❤️❤️you get to pet her for free

Karin's suggestions and warm hospitality really made all the difference to our trip. The breakfasts were wonderful, with quality choices. We very much appreciated the bonus of having baggies provided to pack leftovers for the day. The Banff Holiday Lodge was a highlight of our trip.

The place was really nice and cozy, in a central position with private parking. The real value is the woman who manages the structure: she gave us a lot of advices about what to do and visit in the area, she packed our lunch and prepared an amazing breakfast. We highly recommend that place!

I loved staying here! Karin is super nice and gave plenty of recommendations for exploring Banff. Our room was very cute and comfortable, and the location was stellar, being just minutes away from all the restaurants and shops and providing easy access to trails by either car or public transit. Also, the included breakfast was above and beyond and was an amazing start to our day!

The outside of the building does not live up to the experience. A very very tiny observation. The inside and Karen made up for any shortcomings on the outside. We hope to go back, with our adult kids.

Karen our host was superb, from great breakfasts everyday which included her suggestion to take food for lunch to her great knowledge of both the town of Banff and the area. She was great and enhanced our enjoyment.
