The room maybe lacked a more comfortable seat.

The bed was comfortable and the fact that guests can semi self cater, a real bonus. Cleanliness was good and the quiet location with regular public transport.a short walk away was really brilliant The attractive pricing for the area with a decent room size and a power shower great value. To be near ammenities with lovely walking trails close by, and to be able to get to the city so easily in an hour or less was the real winner.

The heating isn't sufficient, so wearing warm clothes inside may be necessary. The host offered a mini-heater as a solution.

Close to the bus station and just a few stops from the subway. Everything was carefully arranged for an enjoyable experience. The host is a wonderful person and is consistently accessible.

The only drawback to this room is its location but it isn't a deal breaker. It is about 10 miles from the downtown area which we knew and it didn't bother us as we had a car and also used the nearby public transportation. We really enjoyed seeing parts of Toronto we wouldn't have if we had stayed downtown. If you are ok with that, then this room is a fantastic value. We are middle-aged travelers who need a good night's sleep so the quiet suited us perfectly. If you want to be where all the action and nightlife is, then this isn't the place for you.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was quite large and very clean. The bed was comfy and we really appreciated the refrigerator and microwave. The neighborhood was very quiet and we felt very safe there. Our room also came with a parking spot that was perfect. The fridge would ramp up every now and then and produce some noise, being right next to the bed that was quite noticeable. I sleep pretty easily though, so it wasn’t that big of a deal for me.

Room was very clean and had good furnishings, like a fridge and a coffee machine. Bed was huge and really comfy to sleep in. The house is located near a bus stop (2-3 mins walk), which I was using pretty much daily to get downtown. Bus takes you to Finch station from which you can take line 1. The room is in the basement, which kept it pretty cool during hot days. The owner would turn on the central AC too, if needed. He also switched out my used towels for clean ones after my first week, which was really nice. The Wi-Fi was fast too.

the only thing I can say that I would have liked was a hair dryer. that’s all. everything was perfect

it was close to the people I was visiting and really convenient to buses I needed to get around. the place was in a quiet neighborhood too. checkin and checkout time were reasonable. and the host was very attentive to my needs because I have medical condition and I had an episode while I stayed. the host was very helpful for me. I will come here again.

I can't adjust the heater (it was warm), since the control was upstairs with the owner, and I don't want to disturb them because it was already late at night. If it was early I can ask them, they are very accommodating anyway. Aside from that everthing is very good.

The host is very accommodating. The place is clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. There's a restaurant near the place called Petit Potato, the ramen I ordered was very good . I would recommend the place for everyone to stay. Thumbs up!

It's a basement room with one ground level window. The outside entrance was at the top of a stairway which was completely dark at night, and the stairway light was sometime slow in coming on.

It was clean, quiet and cheap, with a small fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine and some basic cutlery and bowls, plates & glasses. It was a fairly large room. A bus stop was a block or so away on Finch Ave., and it was a 10-15 minute ride from there to the subway. There is a grocery store a 20-minute walk away on Leslie St. I didn't meet the owner in person, but he was very pleasant and accommodating in our email exchange.

Room could have been bigger. Cooking facilities barely adequate if you want that kind of thing.

Rain-shower equipped bath. Nice neighbourhood but a little remote if you don't have a car. Fairly easy private access.

It is not located close to any shops or supermarkets so you will have to travel but bus stops and the subway is close by. As its a basement, it can get cold at times.

Clean and comfortable bed and room with the washroom. Recommended for short stays only.
