How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We had a lot of nuisance from a large group of children/youngsters, but this was only the last night. It didn't change how we feel about this hotel.
Outstanding hotel with luxurious, spacious and clean rooms.

I wish they can extend the breakfast 😄 atleast up to 11:30am . 10 am is too early

I could get a better discount if I booked directly with them. When checking in , the front desk didn’t give me an extra key because they were limited but when my husband asked the keys magically wasn’t limited and she gave him an extra key. When we used the pool facility as asked front desk for more towels and the same girl said we don’t have anymore towels that they only had 2.

Staff at this hotel is excellent; rooms are spacious with plenty of storage for a long stay; kitchens are well-appointed and stocked; cleanliness is excellent. This was my third time staying at this hotel and it won't be the last!

The pillows not comfy, and I asked for extra pillows and all I got is used pillows from another room! Thats was a turn off really! Other than that, nearly flawless. Oh yes, breakfast is good but not like wow, just normal…. have the good and bad in it. The bad in breakfast is egg sandwiches are not made fresh, but you put them in the microwave to heat them. If they just let someone do the sandwiches fresh, can be best breakfast ever. 9 out of 10 and will stay there anytime I go Edmonton.
Staff is great. Free coffee 24/7. Spacy rooms. TV have many channels. Easy to put in chromcast or andriod Stick, no password needed to connect, which is great if you have those. Location near Pearson St and all the shopping in South Common. Note to anyone not knowing where to stay in Edmonton: Stay at this hotel and choose south Edmonton, always.

I feel like the breakfast didn't have great selection, travelling with kids, continental breakfast is a reason i will choose a hotel now.
The room size was awesome and having the plates, utensils and cups made it feel less like a hotel and more like home

Bathtubs instead of showers. I can't think of anything else. Everything else was perfect.
This is a beautiful hotel. The location is quiet and safe. I moved from a hotel downtown to this one part way through my trip because I felt so unsafe downtown. The staff are very friendly. I appreciate the coffee and hot chocolate always available. The breakfast was very good and the rooms were very clean. The only thing I missed was having a bathtub instead of a shower. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Edmonton on business.

Large groups of noisy guests travelling together. Constant lack of disabled parking due to guests who were not eligible without a parking card using the stalls. When reported to staff nothing is done about it! If you don’t have a disabled pass don’t park in disabled parking!
Convenient access to all areas of southwest Edmonton.

The breakfast was unappealing. The bedding disassembled itself every few minutes: the duvet cover kept sliding off onto the floor. The sheets pulled out from under the mattress, leaving us in a tangled mess multiple times every night. The pillows were useless.
The room was big and clean. The location was fine; the big park next door was lovely.

Need to order room cleaning service. When my room was cleaned, they did not replenish my coffee. Not a big issue as there is free coffee at reception but still would be nice to have it in the room as well. Extra light would help as well.
