How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast was okay, its not suitable for anyone who follows a natural diet - fresh fruit could include some berries (not only apples and oranges - not everyone can digest these ) and fresh/boiled eggs. It would have been nice to have some organic bread with or without grains. Or on the less expensive side provide fresh pita bread. Or some dried fruit and nuts. Instead of rolled ham/sliced cheese provide crispy cooked bacon/peameal bacon.
The hotel did proved "silk" products which was great for the coffee. Cream cheese was perfect on bagel. Staff provided us with a couple of bananas which we could digest, Thank you.

Coffee is just average.
Breakfast was very good. The facilities are quite new and well maintained. Excellent location and room were really clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was far less than other motels we have stayed at. You were out of some selections that morning as well. Maybe just supply issues that day, that seems to be an issue for many businesses currently. Coffee was awesome! It was very clean. The staff working that morning seemed as if they didn't like their job, maybe just an off day (I don't like my job everyday either). I wasn't affected it but I could hear them talking to others in a fairly bossy way. Guests don't work there it's not their responsibility to know how you like your buffet to work. I would not appreciate being talked to in that manner. But maybe just an off day, we all have them.
The custodian was super friendly. The building is beautiful, parking area well lit. The rooms were quite nice but they need more lights, it's very dark. Washrooms were very nice, good supply of towels and clean. The fridge in our room didn't close properly due to the cabinet, wasn't a problem but if you weren't paying attention you may not close it and leave the room.

Maybe due to short staff, I requested three times for an extra blanket, every time the front desk said they will bring one for me but no one did.

The parking lot was under construction. I was petrified that I'd get a flat tire. The pool was really cold and small in size.

We travel a lot around Canada and the US but we had never stayed at a Home2 Suites hotel. We had to make lots of changes and adjustments in our yearly trip to Algonquin Park and, by the time we finally had the right dates, our usual hotel in Huntsville was not available. So we decided to try this one and we couldn't be more satisfied. The place is new, super well furnished and equipped, absolutely pristine and well staffed by helpful, friendly employees. The rooms are big, the kitchen area very complete and even includes a full size fridge instead of the usual mini bar. The bathrooms are nothing short of wonderful, with great make up mirrors and a fantastic shower. Great beds too. Comfortable, with a good selection of pillows (we travel with ours but they were not necessary this time) and the linen - like the towels - was soft, inviting and contributed to the relaxation after a long day trekking around. Loved it and will be back next year. Also, we are putting Suites2 Home very high in our list of hotels of choice.

New hotel
The breakfast should be better organized. You have to stay in a que to get your breakfast, this is not guest friendly. Besides this the breakfast area is too small for the amount of guests.

The swimming pool is too small.

Breakfast is only offered from 6-9 am, it will be great to offer until 10 a.m. And breakfast is not prepared well ( quantitatively) during the peak season.
Everything is very new and clean. The price is very reasonable. This hotel will be my top 1 when I visit Huntsville next time.

The rooms were very clean, spacious and had all the amenities needed for a short stay. The location was very good. It was very accessible. We loved the breakfast buffet. I would stay there again !!
