How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

After seeing the property and dealing with staff the only thing we were disappointed in was that we were only staying the one night but other than that there were no issues.
This property and the staff are exceptional. I called regarding late check in and shuttle transport and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. Our suite was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped. The staff were friendly yet professional. It was a very pleasant start to our vacation and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a great hotel at a reasonable price while in Calgary.

The kitchen is the brightest spot in the room. In addition, I like the design of dry wet depart, and It is easy to keep clean and dry.
I like the room layout and the kitchen design, which are very convenient for families travelling with kids and pets. The staff was very friendly, my kids enjoyed the swimming pool, and my dog felt comfortable in the room.

the aircon in our bedroom rm.402 is just a fan, i wished it was colder but we had a good sleep though also, we wished the pool closes later than 10pm because we came late around 9pm so we had fun for just a few minutes
i liked that it was a home away from home. i loved it!

Had to get a short taxi ride to the hotel. it the transfers the following day were free.
Lovely suite, really helpful staff, excellent value for money with great facilities.

The main problem was the wifi. it was too insecure for any of our devices to accept it, and the receptionist said this is a common problem. They really need to invest in better wifi. The breakfast was adequate but basic.

Due to covid rooms are only being cleaned every 4 days. We were staying 10 nights and would have preferred our room to have been cleaned more frequently (totally understand that this is due to covid though)
Great location and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty with a large selection so something for everyone. Would recommend to family and friends without a doubt!

There’s not much to complain about except the curtains could be darker .

Great location near the airport. Shuttle was great. The rooms were very nice and big with kitchen area. Restaurant was enjoyable and the complimentary breakfast was great.

I have no complain. I find things are good after staying at a Hilton Hotel at downtown Calgary
Location and parking facility. Accessible to wherever we want to go and enough space for our guest to park to see us. Breakfast has a good selection of food.

One elevator wasn’t working. Quite a wait.

We were double billed for the stay (2X $577.95). Can you please issue a credit to my Mastercard for one of these billings?
The breakfast, pool, room and proximity to airport with the shuttle service was great. My only complaint is that we were double billed.

We really don’t have any complaints. However I do find it strange that the lady at the front desk didn’t tell us there was free supper in the reception area, especially since I was asking if there are any restaurants nearby for dinner. But oh well. That was the only thing that was strange to me.
I always found it to be clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and loved the pool and basketball net out back. Breakfast was great every morning, nice variety, everything tasted great. I found our room very sound proof, we never heard the planes or other guests even though the hotel was full due to tournaments. Bed was good, weird how there was no fan in the bathroom so it took a while to unsteam after a shower. We spent a lot of time at the pool, and it was always clean and well stocked with towels. also, it’s only like a 10-15 min drive to downtown Calgary. and a short drive to most places in general
