The hot tub wasn’t function properly. The elevators are difficult to use at times.

Number 1, the staff. They were exceptional. The complementary breakfast was very good with lots of variety not normally scene in a free breakfast.

The rooms are not quite soundproofed. Nothing intolerable, but I was a bit unlucky with people talking loudly after 21h and kids crying (not their fault though)

The hot tub was out of order but this wasn’t listed anywhere we only found out by going down and seeing it. This was highly disappointing on a busy Saturday night. I do wish the pool and hot tub facilities were open 24/7 on weekends. By the time the hockey game was over it was closed.

Proximity to the Saddledome was perfect. Staff were professional and polite Food in restaurant was good. Drinks were just as ordered Not a big city person but I felt very safe and secure at Homewood. Will be staying here again next time I am in need of a hotel for a concert.

The suite was actually one room but we thought it would have a wall.

The room has all you need! Great location in the heart of east village. Our kids loved the pool! The breakfast was really tasty.

If there's anything to be desired, there's a gap in the door, so there's from both light and sound in the hallway. We really wanted to sleep dark and deep, but the light leaking through the door held us back, and so did the noise.

The staff's kindness was absolutely superb. It wasn't just perfunctory kindness, but I could really relate. All the staff I encountered laughed and said hello. The view of downtown was amazing, stunning hotel.

Unfortunately while the location is good in so many ways it is also a very uncomfortable area to walk due to the homeless shelter being close by and excessive drug use. No fault of the hotel. I feel for them as it can’t be easy dealing with it daily.

No complaints. Stuff is pretty basic and not overly luxurious, but in terms of costs I didn’t expect overly luxurious.

Staff is very friendly, and the value for money stands out. Spacious rooms, a location that is close to downtown and exits, the direct environment offers a real canadian supermarket and a Tim Horton.

The situation regarding parking had not been clear. We were not sure about where to park which was a bit of a concern as there are sketchy types hanging around in the hotel area. But it didn’t prove to be a problem in the end as the above ground parking lot was across the street from the hotel and fully visible for security purposes.

We were greeted very cordially by the front desk staff. Though she was the only person at the front desk, and had to deal with registering a large group before us, she remained calm and when she was able to deal with us was friendly and informative. We were very pleased with our room which was well-appointed, spacious and generally very comfortable. The swimming pool and hot pool were satisfactory as was the exercise gym. Breakfast was very good. We were impressed by the conscious effort made by the hotel to be more environmentally conscious. Finally, we really liked this part of Calgary adjacent to the Bow River. Excellent for long cycling and walking along the river. Overall, the staff in the dining area, the front desk, and maintenance areas were friendly and helpful.

The design of the room is a bit weird. The closet is near the bathroom which is far from the door. And every time I wanna shower and open the water tap, the cold water would directly go to my face. I mean the door of the shower room should be in the opposite direction. Other than that, if the window can be bigger and has more lights come in, that'd be great too.

It's close to the train which is in the free zone, so for people like us wanna explore the Calgary downtown, I highly recommend this place. The room has a microwave, kitchen, and utensils. You can bring your food to the room and cook. This place is also really clean and has a 24-hour gym and the hot tub is really nice.
