We had some trouble with the cable TV. Not important, since the WIFI worked well for our laptops.

Lovely old building, nicely renovated, lots of character: original wood floors, new ceramic tiles. Small but comfortable rooms. Very clean! Didn't try the breakfast: looked basic. Very helpful staff.

Bed and sound insulation were quite inadequate.

The staff was helpful and friendly. There was also free coffee and basic breakfast, although it was not stated in the reservation. We think we got what we paid for.

We couldn’t set the bed well that was attached to the wall so we had to use the nightstands which wasn’t too safe

I think everything was okay for the small room we had, the space and the facilities were enough and useful and the mirror have this lights which give it a modern touch

Less than one hour out of Montreal one will find a Hostellerie (Motel) which is more a Hotel than a Motel. It’s much cheaper than in Montreal directly. Staff is friendly, the room offered more than expected: huge bed, place to sit, bath room with shower plus bath. Situated directly near the water it would be nice to sit there and watch the river. Now it was cold outside but the small heaters in room and bath did work excellent. Can’t understand negative statements here.

The breakfast space was very nice. Some of the food options where a little lacking and there where not enough dishes to accommodate everyone, for example all the bowls had been used for cereal before we arrived.

Hotel staff was great, we arrived late and they stayed up to accommodate us, despite having issues with the phone lines and communication, when we arrived all was good and someone helped us. Rooms where very clean and comfortable, bathrooms where excellent. The building was very charming and well maintained and rennovated.

This room had no balcony and almost the whole window was blocked by an old and very noisy air-conditioning unit, I could not sleep with it on and the window cannot be opened due to the air-con unit blocking it, so the fresh air was missing. Also it was little noisy as situated towards the car park and entrance (noisy guests), the view was less romantic - so compared to room Nr. 23 the night before this was little less satisfied for me, but still good for 8 grades out of 10, dont understand me wrong, it is still a very good property and I highly recommend it if you dont mind staying quite far from Montreal.

My second night I had to relocate to another room, Nr. 26, which was still OK, but not that perfect as the first one. Still comfortable, clean, with simple but fine continental breakfast anytime downstairs, situated in a calm neighbourhood, next to lakes, with ample parking right in front, very good wi-fi and nice personnel.

I think there was some confusion on the rooms. I didn't end up with the room that I originally booked but it was fine for just the two of us. I was provided with an outdoor key in case the main door was locked when I wanted to come in and had great difficulty opening the front door to the buildiong. After several attempts I figured out if I pushed in on the door the lock would release when I turned the key.

The breakfast room is a great idea. there is a good supply of choices (juices milk coffee tea yogurt cereal toast) I like that you can go to the breakfast room and make what you want and enjoy a sit down breakfast with friends and other guests. Also loved the location on the water and within walking distance the where I wanted to be.

I didn’t go for breakfast until about 9:30, so maybe I was just too late, but there were no plates to be found and no one around to ask. There was no juice left. Had I been earlier, I would have very likely been fully satisfied. Unfortunately, the pool was not open and it was extremely hot weather the beginning of September.

The decor of the room was modern and tasteful. The bed was super comfortable. It was very clean and had all the amenities expected in a motel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pool was greenish and did not seem to be operational. Bed rather hard.

The top floor is not even, this creates a gap between the door and the floor that leaves room for any noise/lack of privacy coming from the hallway.

There was some mechanical or plumbing noise that came through the floor that was a bit of a distraction when trying to get to sleep. The pool temperature was a bit too cold. The breakfast was very basic. A bit of fruit would have been nice.

Convenient and beautiful location. We took out charcuterie dinner down by the St Lawrence River snd watched a beautiful sunset. Large room, comfortable bed, good quality sheets. Very clean. Good shower and spacious bathroom. Handy continental breakfast was a nice surprise.

Great location: lovely neighborhood and 3 min to town. Lovely and helpful staff. Nice outdoor pool. Good breakfast. Nice updated room. Great river view. We stayed here last year and would return.

We reserved one room for a couple and another for an adult and three children. They were surprised when I reminded them of the nature of the reservation and pretended to put the adult and kids in the smaller room which had only one bed. They apologized and said they did not have any other room available...but my reservation was specific and done weeks ago....WTF?! Somebody screwed up here.

The staff is second to none and the property seems to have been renovated during the pandemic. One of our rooms was excellent and spacious. The other was somewhat small. The pool was quite enjoyable.
