The room was good, well worth the price - clean, hot water, etc. My only issue was that the room was very cold when I went in ... 10 deg cold, and the blanket on the bed was not thick. The heater brought the temperature up as I initially rested, but it was a bit uncomfortable for a while.

The only dislike we have is the fact that the cottages are seasonal and will be closed for the winter very soon! The regular rooms are just as comfortable so it is not really a dislike, just a preference on our part!

as usual the cottage was clean and comfortable! Got a little chilly at night but the electric heat took care of it nicely! As it was Thanksgiving weekend the owners offered up an excellent turkey dinner on the house! It was delicious!

The restaurant was closed and they made up a very small breakfast to compensate for it. Wasn't enough. Bathroom floor wasn't swept very well

Smokers permitted to smoke outside the rooms. Very annoying if you are a non smoker as can't sit outside. We booked via booking.com and the first room we were given was *very small and *very outdated. Hardly enough room for two adults and wasnt worth what we paid. We asked to change rooms because we couldnt sleep because of a pick up truck idling it's very loud diesel engine for over 20 minutes (it was a warm day, completely unnecessary). There was "riff-raff" types hanging around the room next to us smoking outdoors and very suspicious looking. We were concerned about theft. They accommodated us by moving us to a quiet unit at the back which was fine. The new room was OK value for what we paid $150/night) except it had a big wet spot in the carpet in front of the air conditioner I kept stepping in but we weren't going to change rooms again. The breakfast included is take out - scrambled egg and 1.5 pieces of thin white toast. You'll need to pick up a breakfast sandwich after if you're a breakfast eater lol.

Easy to get to, free parking, pretty close to the Waterfront Trail (we cycle), coffee maker fridge and microwave in rooms. The room was clean and bed comfortable.

Didn't like that we didn't get a bill. At checkin, the lady told us "we know you", meaning, we had a reservation, but she gave us no bill to document that we had paid. Breakfast was one choice only, You had to have it between 8 and 9. The time was not convenient, so we didn't have the breakfast. We had to be at a boat cruise at 9:155.

Have stayed here many times and as usual evrything was just as expected! Owners are very friendly and helpful! Stayed in one of their cottages which was well eequipped and peaceful with a very comfortable bed! Close to everything you need !

There were quite a few men and women hanging around outside rooms looked like they lived there. They didn’t speak and were quite rude. One man walked into our room. Looked scruffy and not very inviting. I would stay at the hotel over the road. Our room had a smell, I asked if we could be moved but the only one left was next door to the group of men. Owner said smell was new carpet - I am not daft that carpet was new about 10’years ago! Stayed in better for the money

The rooms were dated like from the 60s, not saying it was a bad thing just like it is. Unfortunately the dining room was closed and has been for the season due to not enough staff.

The breakfast was good, hand cooked by the owners of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was accommodating and very friendly. Reasonably priced for one night stay.

Hot water takes a while to get to the cottages from the main buiding but is noted in the bathroom to let it run a couple of minutes! When it arrives there is always enough!

Rented the larger cottage this time and will again from now on! Very well appointed and spacious! Had two double beds and a pull out couch! Located at the rear of the lot so was nice and quiet! Owners are super and very freindly! Always happy to see repeat clients! Always a great experience staying there!

The room smelled musty and mouldy, the bathroom had spiders and cobwebs like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. The bath and bathmat was mouldy. The bedsheet was torn.

The owners went out of their way to provide what we required, extra pillows, extra garbage bags etc. Friendly staff.

Its unfortunate that the attached restaurant was closed. Although the bed was quite comfortable, the pillows were very small and only 2 on the bed. We had coffee the first morning but cleaning staff did not clean any of the cups, or the coffee maker and did not replenish the coffee supplies. I pulled my phone charger from the wall and unplugged the cord from it because I wanted to take the cord with me for the day. I dropped the charger on top of my bag so I would know where it was when I returned that evening. When we got back, my charger was not where I left it. It was gone.

Check in was fast and friendly. All questions were answered very well. The cabin we rented was clean and tidy. It was nice to be able to park our motorcycle right beside our door. The location provided easy access to all amenities in town.
