There needs to be a lot of work done. Painting on the outside would freshen the place. In my bathroom the paint was peeled off the wall. The TV might work if you keep the light on etc. It needs money to upgrade it and a bit of elbow grease to refurbish and do work to clean it up.

There were a few bugs in the room. Not bed bugs, but other creepy crawlies. Maybe it's just the area but it creeped us out a bit. The beds were a bit too hard.

Great staff. Very friendly and accommodating. There was a little kitchenette.

The bed I was in was very uncomfortable. I think I would have been okay if there were nicer pillows but it was a rough sleep.

The staff was so lovely and helpful! My daughter and I were coming really late and the staff accommodated us. I really appreciated that.

the sink was clogged from the start. had to use the tub for brushing teeth abd washing hands. nobody cleaned our room on our 2nd day. we did not mind since it’s not dirty

The room was not very clean. Holes in the blankets, shower didn't drain, dirt on the baseboards and it appeared that it the taps and sinks hadn't been cleaned.

The beds were very comfortable and staff was friendly.

Bed was not comfortable at all. Coffee maker but no coffee or cups of any sort.

There were hazards everywhere! construction materials and ladders and old furniture littered the property. It would have been nice to have some of that information listed. The price was high considering the bed linens are not not that cozy and the premises were a mess. It would have been nice to have more secure ways to lock the door at night( there was no deadbolt.

The bathroom was upgraded and well done asides from the holes in the door and the sticky bathroom door and they were trying to renovate.

I booked a single room in Feb, confirmed in April. Was made to pay for stay at check-in. Was told they only had a kitchenette left, only charged for single, which ok. But not what I booked. Website says newly renovated and pictures on website nothing like the room. The room was dirty, sand & dirt all over the floor. Had to find broom & dust pan to sweep the floor, then unpacked car. No inside mat to room, used one of my own towels as a mat to take shoes off on. The bathroom had no towel bars, paint chips, and damage on walls. The bathtub didn't drain properly. Huge gap around the bathroom fan. The fan cover is very dirty Food on the wall by table The microwave did not work properly. Beds are so uncomfortable, sheets were hard and scratchy with no real blanket on the bed, just little foan one top of the sheet that only went 3/4 way up the bed. No sound proofing between floors or walls, could hear everything around the room, TV, conversations, every foot step above. Took hours for room to warm up, heat was shut off when arrived, Never used the stove or the dishes. Advertise hairdryer, nope not one, says toiletry provided. Only packet of shampoo& conditioner (never used) Little soap size of loonies not used. Large gap around the front door, wobbly door knob thought was going to fall off every time unlock the door. and old chain lock, not very secure at all Pictures provided not all room true, but the ones I took of inside room only have more but no space for them

Everything. The photos looked better then the actual room. The blankets have holes, the beds sink in the middle, pillows are so thin. The bathroom has no cover on the fan, you have to strattle the toilet to open/close the door and the door was dirty.

Though I was only a solo traveler on this trip, the small size of this room was noticeable in contrast to others I've stayed in over the last 10 years or so. The small A/C unit for this room was installed at the very top of the wall over the entry door - in the corner. There was no obvious remote control / remotely wired thermostat control on the wall to run it, so I had to stand on a chair to actually turn it on. Once it ran for a couple hours, it was leaking condensation on the floor below, so I threw down a small towel.

Staff were helpful and attentive. Bed was supportive; slept well enough. Facility in process of modernization, and it shows they care. Bathroom was tight, but maintained, clean. Proximity to some of the things I like (local microbrew pub, local stores, coffee shop, fuel, etc) was a nice surprise.
