Could benefit from some touch ups, floor had a greasy/sticky feeling, the high amount of informational notes posted through out the room was a bit odd, the breakfast was a bit underwhelming.

It was completely different from what I was expecting-in the best way. Gorgeous old building, loved the steps out to the balcony, great view with soothing sound of the falls, appreciated the extra cozy blanket found in the closet, access to Netflix is always a bonus!

We are seniors and the room we booked was in an area where there were steep stairs. It was difficult to bring in bags and get to and from the unit.

The beds need to be updated. The mattresses are like cement where even the edges cut into your legs if you don’t have them fully over the edge when sitting. I didn’t have a good night sleep either night we were there as a result. I would recommend a towel rack outside of the bathroom. The bathroom is quite small, and there was no where within the room to hang additional towels to dry. The heat pump needs attention, when trying to run the AC it sounds like it needs the filters cleaned and air flow was low. We wanted to crack a window but the window had no screen in it, and the screen in the patio door would not stay up without an object to hold it.

The location is beautiful and the host was very friendly. The on-site restaurant is good but could be better for the price (lacks in flavour) but the service at the restaurant was excellent. The room was also very clean. It smells a little old, but that’s because it is old and still has carpeting and no exhaust fans in the bathroom, so a damp smell is present BUT that’s to be expected. The rooms were comfy, with Netflix provided and plenty of pillows of different support levels to choose from which was excellent!

No 24 hour staff. The bed creaked when you moved, disturbing your partner. The included breakfast was disappointing, with stale croissants, and very limited choice.

Beautiful location. Wonderful views. Lovely staff. We enjoyed our balcony and the windows all around our room + the bathroom skylight! Breakfast was nice. Comfy bed and pillows. Clean and tidy room. Easy walking distance to other things. Convenient location for the wedding we attended at the Foundry.

A minor issue but there was no ice in the ice maker in the lobby. The staff member was able to get me ice from elsewhere (maybe the restaurant) but it was a tiny container. Had it been after 7 when no staff was available it would have been disappointing. Again a minor issue, but it took a couple of tries to find a table to eat breakfast and have coffee that wasn’t wobbling around. It’s one of those small annoyances when on vacation and an easy fix for the Inn. Music or the local radio station playing when eating breakfast would be an added touch.

We had a beautiful view from our room. The property was quiet, clean and the staff member we checked in with was very friendly.

The breakfast area wasn’t clean at all. No too many options, or almost nothing to eat. When we got there before 9am, breakfast was scheduled until 10am. The restaurant wasn’t available, the room we got was nothing close to show in the pictures.
