This is really convenient with a quick stop for the night. It's right by the highway. The washroom/shower is shared setup but since we were the only guests for the night so we had it all to ourselves. Overall we had a very quiet and respectful night.

IbBooked 2 rooms at this location through Booking.com for 2 nights. Could not stay the second night due to change in travel plan. Booking.com did not refund me for the second night. I will not be making any reservations through Booking.com in the future.

If you want a unique and quiet accommodation in northern BC Jade City is your place to go. Clean and cozy rooms with a very good breakfast. Will for sure book again.

Rooms are very small which the bed takes up 60% of room floor. Traveling alone I couldn't imagine 2 people sharing a room. Wifi was down 98% of the time with never working more then 3 minutes in a row.

Off season and had the whole place to myself. Even the highway by it had little traffic though the night. Plenty of places to walk and old equipment to kick the rotting tires. They leave totally alone to do what you want.

You could hear noise from other rooms when they arrived at 10:30 at night. There are no grocery stores or food places anywhere close (miles and miles away).

The breakfast was a great addition to the stay. The Jade Shop was very interesting. Wish I had known about the show Jade Fever before I stayed there rather than days after.

The room was a single room with only the bed a nightstand able to fit in the room. I have a poor leg so navigating was tricky when o had to use the facilities. I’m grateful though they had room available.

The host was extremely helpful when I called. Although remote, the room and amenities were what we needed. I was pleasantly surprised with how thorough the hosts were and enjoyed breakfast as I had not prepared well with additional food. Enjoyed our stay!

The location was prime for long travels through Canada. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Not only explaining everything available and where things were previous to arrival but also upon arrival. Ensuring that they had a very clean and homey environment.

The room was postage stamp size. The bathroom was down the outdoor walkway & shared. The breakfast was ok. - ignore the comments that say great! Bagels hard boiled eggs & a fruit cup.

I felt like I was being accused of trying to sneak my dog in. I’d brought her into the store on a leash (for about five minutes) while I spoke to the guy in charge, while another customer petted her, said a few words about her. About 30 minutes later, the same guy from the store knocks on my door and acts like I’m trying to sneak a dog in. He was smiling but he wasn’t really being too nice. I liked it here last time, but I won’t come back. it was pretty weird.

I liked it way better last spring when I came through and the owners were here.

I didn't realize how small the room would be. There was just room for the bed and maybe a couple feet around the bed to walk around. It was also a bit tricky checking in. The main building had closed for the day, but I was able to track someone down and get a key to our room after hunting around for a bit.

Breakfast was provided in a seperate room. That was pretty good.

It would really be nice, from a motorcycle point of view, to be able to buy gas here. But I planned for it not to be there and it’s nots a problem. It would also be nice to be able to buy some basic food items but again I planned for it and just used my camp stove and one of my dehydrated dinners for eating that night.

I was traveling solo on a motorcycle trip and this small room hotel was in a good spot to call it a day for riding. It’s a very basic room with a bed and shared shower bathroom at the end of the building. They provided a simple breakfast of hard boiled egg, coffee, toast and jam.

Some people would be put off by the shared bath and lounge area, but both are clean and well appointed-I liked it. The wifi is spotty, but look at the location-I was surprised to get any internet!

The place is really interesting. Nicely decorated cozy rooms and comfy bed. The heat works great and we know because it was really cold when we were there. Nice breakfast options-coffee, homemade muffins, bagels, cereal, etc. There is no TV, but they make up for it by providing DVD's. Very nice people who know alot about Jade. So glad we stayed here.
