The place is stirring. There was a lot of people talking downstairs and outside and I couldnt sleep much because of how noisy it was. Also on the halways.

Locations is pretty good, its in downtown. The room was clean and nice.

Bed was very uncomfortable. It was clear that mattress was not changed in a very Long time.

The beds had curtains, facilities were clean and each bed had its own sockets. Staff was very kind and ever helped me with additional request. Even the upper bunk was easy to get into as the stairs were wide.

Kitchen wasn’t very clean and sponges definitely needed changing. The detergent bottles weren’t filled either. The mattress pad was so soft I felt like I was sinking the whole night and woke up with back pain. We also had pretty disrespectful neighbors who were taking video calls at 5AM with the lights on.

Very convenient and walkable. Staff was super helpful and friendly. We really liked eating by the windows on the first floor.

Short walk from railway station. Was allowed to leave my bag and use kitchen facilities prior to checking in as train arrives early (9am) much appreciated. Comfy beds with curtain for privacy and ensuite. Good kitchen facilities and clean

The fact that there was only one toilet and one shower for 8 people was a little disturbing. The fan didn't work and the beds right next to the door weren't great because the light hit us in the face as soon as someone opened the door. Perhaps you could install curtains for more privacy.

The showers in the room were small, without a counter for setting dry clothes, and barely enough room to change. Sufficient, though. We had our window open at night, and there were people on the street after 2 am being very loud. This is not the fault of the facility, but a matter of the location near a bar. There were only four on-site parking spots available. The first night we were able to find free parking a half a block away, but the next night we had to park more than a block away to find free parking. Not too bad, though, and very doable.

The beds and kitchen were awesome! The beds have very sturdy frames and walls at the head and feet. and the other side with the wall. The black-out curtains stretch all the way across. The beds were not shaky so movement in one bunk does not shake the other bunk. Some beds had one or more hooks to hang items. All beds had small working fans, lights, plug-ins for charging phones, etc. and a small shelf. The mattress, pillow, comforter, and sheets were all very cozy. There were several hooks all around the room, which were helpful to hang wet clothes for all (it was raining in Jasper). Each room has a two separate rooms, one with a shower and one with a toilet/sink so you could go to the bathroom even if someone else was in the shower. The kitchen was very well organized with four working stations, multiple sinks, large cooling fridges, a freezer, and a system in place with tubs and tags for labeling food. There was cutlery available, and if you wanted dishware you could check it out from the front desk. There were also several long tables and it was clean. In the hall (outside the room), there were also several small and large lockers, separate private shower rooms, if needed. The location was excellent! It was right around the corner at the very end of the main street of restaurants and shops.

The rooms doors make too much noise what is not very easy to ignore while you are sleeping .

They have a lack of storage space and sometimes other guests would allow their belongings to spill out all over the place. Larger lockers or storage facilities would be very helpful. Even though Jasper is a very safe town, I ended up leaving things in my car I would have felt more comfortable having in a locker.

The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen space is great. Staff is helpful and the location is nice.

The kitchen is not well equipped with basic appliances nor ingredients (salt etc).

Location is extremely convenient, next to a grocery store and some good restaurants. The bed is comfy with light blocking sheet covering to provide privacy.

Responsive and friendly front desk staff, well equipped sleeping quarters, well-stocked games cupboard, kitchen is equipped with everything you'd need. Recommended for a solo or backpacking stopover.

No breakfast/food, mediocre polite receptionist. Did not feel welcome (compared to many other hostels I have been). The biggest challenge was the loudness coming from the people outside with our window neighbouring directly the terrasse of the neighbouring bar / party place. From 1-3 am it was extremely loud 2 nights of 3. Secondly, it was simply very hot with no major air-conditioning in the room.

Price value ratio was good, despite no breakfast. Professional handling of guests, nice common area with games, tables, and books. Good location, clean.

We visited Canmore hostel before so we had high hopes, but Jasper hostel did not reached the same level.

It was in a great place and had the best value in the area.
