We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Canadathe rooms are very very small. there is also no thermostat in the room so it gets cold at night, there is only a heater along the wall that you have no control over. you can here people down the hall talking so the rooms aren't soundproof whatsoever
The blankets and pillows smelled really good, really clean. and the one lady working was just the sweetest lady.

CanadaThe linens did not seem washed. The sheets had large, white crusty stains, as well as some greasy looking stains, which we asked the staff to change for us. The towels smelled so dirty we could not use them. We were kept awake from 12:30AM-4AM by drunk people in the room behind ours having a very violent domestic dispute. We did not feel safe. The pathways were dangerously slippery with ice. There was no thermostat and the window did not open so it was very hot. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and we were sore in the mornings.
The bathroom and surfaces seemed to have been cleaned sufficiently. The only staff member we encountered was nice.
