I stayed in two different rooms a few days apart at the beginning and end of my bigger trip. The room with the balcony was a bit tight, but it did include it's own bathroom and of course the balcony. The door to that room was also difficult to open. Still nice and clean though with everything you would need. A room with a king bed facing the street with a shared bathroom was a bigger space. Unfortunately one of the window blinds was broken so I was not able to close it fully to keep out morning light. Besides that it was very nice. Although the bathroom was shared the shower was incredible. It was huge with a waterfall shower head! A few things need some fixing, but overall it is a great space.

The parking approach is quite confusing to me, I guess you have to park on the street. Hard to talk to the owner and understand each other, though it wasn't an issue when communicating through the app. Place was clean mostly, but I found a huge hair strain on my pillow. There was no coat hangers to put my jacket in the room. It might get noisy as well, I could hear cars passing by, there is a jar of earplugs that you can use.

Got that great view. The place is not far from the border crossing. The Wi-Fi connection was decent, there are also kettle and microwave available along with tea and coffee options, which is great. Shared bathroom is large and has big shower, I had no issue using that since it was free most of the time.

Minor issues for me was the road noise at night and also the TV playing quite loud on the main floor in the morning when the owner wasn't there!! Another minor issue was their annoying barking dog, it wasn't in the open area but when you walked to your car around the side of the property it barked constantly. Note these did not affect my stay but worth a mention.

Overall the stay was satisfactory. Location was perfect a short walk less than 1km to restaurants etc. I didn't actually meet the owner during the three days I was their. I did chat to the daughter twice briefly during my stay, she was very pleasant. I shared a bathroom, which was a really nice bathroom.

The heat vent was right over the bed and that made it quite warm at night until the air had sufficiently circulated.

I needed an inexpensive and convenient location for my solo trip. It was that and more. The host was extremely helpful and pleasant and the fellow house guests were polite with following house rules.

The air conditioning was very noisy, however earplugs were provided. Some of the fixtures were a bit dated and the bed was for us personally a bit soft/uncomfortable and on the small side, given one of us is 6foot

The location was excellent and the place was great value for money. The host was very attentive, gave good instructions for our late check in and was quick to respond to any enquiries.

The property is well maintained and boasts of one of the best locations right next to the waterfront. The bed is comfy and specially the room with a balcony is outstanding. The host Alan is very cooperative and does his best to meet the guests requirements.

There isn't a supermarket directly near the house but a bus station. The town Windsor is small. For the USA is a separate travel permission requested, named ESTA. The ETA for Canada isn't adapted.

Very nice view over the lake to the skyline of Detroit. helpful staff, comfortable living room. You can travel with the Tunnel bus to the USA.

Be Aware that luggage needs to carried up a flight of stairs - host assisted with this task. Host does not speak fluent English, but responds well to SMS.

The walls are very thin so it is very easy to hear other guests.
