Although the location is good, the neighbourhood is a bit scary at the beginning. The park near the hotel (Allan Gardens) is full with squatters and the adjacent streets too. So if you walk during the day and come back to the hotel late in the night, preferably take an Uber.

Cheap prices, location is not very far from all the major places to visit (20min walking to everywhere, 10min for metro). The room was clean (the comments on Google had us worried but they were old, so probably under different management and the hotel was renovated since then), shower was nice and clean too, the fridge is clean and very effective, the TV had Netflix.

At time of booking it didn't say there was no closet or a rack to hang clothes on No hairdryer No phone Sub level room was like going down a skinny dark staircase but room was nice when we got there Also sub level room was noisey from the people above Front lobby and staircase needs a good makeover Coffee and tea should be provided all day and night not only in the a.m. Area was close to the main square however it was a bit scary walk for 2 ladies alone.

Unfortunately, the location wasn't so great. We felt unsafe at times walking to the hotel due to the large amount of homeless people nearby.

Nice staff who let us leave our luggage for the day and recommended a good cheap eat nearby. Room was a good size and wifi was fast.

The bed wasn't really comfortable and was making noises at the slightest movement, even breathing. A Minor inconvenience was our room as it was located in the basement so smell wasn't the best (although the room was spotless)

Location is perfect and the staff makes the difference, really helpful and accommodating. Also, best toilet paper in Canada :)

Room was in the basement, and small, so felt shut in. Bed was small. Bedding smelt of chemicals, and slept badly as a result.

The price was good, and it had air conditioning (outside was hot) and private bathroom.

It is well located, although the hotel street does not feel very safe. There was A/C in the room but it was quite noisy.

Location is very good. The matress was very comfortable. The ensuite room was very clean and spacious. Free coffee in the morning was a nice treat. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything going on in the hallway and the other rooms. The doors are also very loud when being openend/closed. Sleeping was basically impossible for 3 nights in a row.

We were in a basement room and it was very loud with people above leaving early and doors on corridor not having slow close so can slam and it echoes, for 1 night in a city centre location it's okay but if doing more than 1 night it might be a bit loud!

Homeless people were staying in tents at the end of the road, but they never bothered you, just kept to them selves.

It was 10 minute walk to yonge st and the Eaton centre, enjoyed the wildlife that was going about in the area especially the raccoon family.
