. No staff onsite, so called and waited 10 minutes while someone came to open up. They just opened up but knew nothing about room. A bit more thought on extras would be good: cups, creamer and sugar for coffee: soap in bathroom.

Situated right by the Cheticamp harbor, 10 minutes from Highlands National Park. Walking distance of various restaurants. Room was big and comfortable- we used the queen bed and the sofa bed. Slept fine on both. Heating worked well.

We liked everything. The price was a bit high, but we knew what it was when we booked it. The only thing the owners might change was the second phone number in the 'welcome book' on the coffee table: I called this number to let them know we were leaving, and the person on the other end turned out to be an ex-employee who was NOT pleased to receive the call.

The suite was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed - the only thing we found missing was a spatula (for egg-flipping, etc). Temperature was perfectly controllable, showers were lovely and hot, and the suite was central to everything in town.

The bed could be bigger. It's a queen in a big room, so it would be nicer if it was a king. Also, the check-in is done via phone but the number provided in the website and locally never answered, so we had to use the "backup" number informed in the sign by the parking lot.

The apartment had great amenities like dishes, cups, cutlery, and pots. It was very clean and spacious. Walking distance from many interesting places and restaurants.

We called the phone number upon arrival and Veronica met us to check us in. Great location, right on the harbour. The room was comfortable and they provided coffee and cream! We were in a lower suite and the guests above us were quiet. Sunset was lovely. We enjoyed the best meal of the trip at L'Abri. It is a must-go. Make a reservation or sit at the bar. Cheticamp is a wonderful place.

Unfortunately, we were only there one night so we really didn't have time to enjoy all the features and read the book of instructions. We are used to staying in hotels and having on-site personnel to show us how things work. The heating, showers, and wifi were all great, but we couldn't get the microwave to work, or to find channels on the tv I'm sure Cheticamp is a very safe and friendly community, but still, we weren't comfortable with the locks on the doors.

The suites are beautifully decorated and you are right on the water. Conveniently located in Cheticamp. Everything was extremely clean and the owner answered the phone each time I called with a question. Very helpful. This would be perfect for a couple wanting to spend a weekend alone near the water.

The location of La Digue Suites is nice. I was coming to work, so I couldn't walk around. They prepared many notes with recommendations about the surrounding restaurants and bars which is really lovely.

I called the property about the smell from the toilet but they didn’t do anything about it. We called for iron and ironing board but they did not get back to me. The television remote was missing and firestick remote needed new batteries. No television available for the whole stay. No closet or area to hang your clothes.

The property is close to everything. There’s a drug store across the street. Free parking in front of the room.

Bed frame stuck out too far and I cut my leg on it. That was the only negative thing about the property. I would still recommend it.

Clean and comfortable. Nice location by the dock. Loved that the binder had all the information in it that we needed including the menu's from all of the local restaurants. That was very helpful.

You are literally almost on the pier! It is spectacular! So fun and quaint and comfy! There isn't a thing you can't walk to in Cheticamp proper and it felt so safe! Lovely really! We did not have noise with the boats leaving in the morning but we found them to be wonderful to watch!

Construction workers began pounding and drilling on the wall outside our suite at 8 am. So much for a peaceful start to the vacation! We had no warning about this and might have chosen another place had we known. We felt that we were not treated with appropriate consideration in this area. Also, despite the helpful binder of info about the unit, there were no instructions about how to turn on the fire, and we couldn’t get the bathroom heater and fan to work. And, in general, the various thermostats and remote were very confusing.

Check-in was confusing. Only after a few minutes of walking around the building in the rain we saw a sign that said to call a number to check in. The phone call seemed a bit hectic with a child screaming in the background. A day later we saw other people walking around in a confused way too, looking for check in. It seems easier to either send full check-in instructions (also money-wise, as just 2 minutes of calling costs about CAD 6) or instructions for the phone call by email the day before.

Nice, spacious and comfortable apartment that had everything we needed. Especially the shower/bathroom and kitchen were very nice!
