How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The pool and hot tub area was not private at all. There was also a lot of chlorine and chemicals in the hot tub/pool which caused two of our group to have bad skin reactions. Our room keys constantly did not work which was frustrating.
Good location - close to transport and shopping complex with lots of food options and Walmart.

My previous stay they offered an airport shuttle. The website and booking.com CLEARLY states they no longer have this option. I see more and more airports also cancelling this feature. Unfortunate, not sure it is a cost thing or staffing issue, but I do predict this option returning possibly in 2024 when travel picks up.
Comfortable beds, albeit a bit soft, standard cable channels, clean bathroom. All in all a good airport stay over option. Excellent dining options all around all within easy walking distance (2 -4 minutes) from front door

The sound-proof is really, really bad. Even the tap water noise from other room can be heard, which is not good for quality sleep.
I really like the password-required WiFi. The coverage is excellent. Besides, it has hair dryer and coffee maker at room. I know some people may say that's nothing, but some hotels don't supply and you will have to ask them at the receptionist desk.

few Gluten free and dairy free options for breakfast

hotel is a short ride from the airport, and in a great area surrounded by plenty of food options and shops. Rooms are comfy with everything you need.

The bed was too soft, and the pillows were too big and fluffy. Usually you get 2 different kinds of pillows, but these were all too large, hard to sleep on. The breakfast wasn't great. We found that the waffles were still a little uncooked in thd middle. Only hard boiled eggs and turkey sausage. Not great.

Loved the location...excellent for shopping. BREAKFAST WAS OKAY BUT SELECTION WAS NOT GREAT. HOWEVER I LIKED THE AREA AND ALL THE WINDOWS. VARIETY AT BREAKFAST WAS NOT VERY INTERESTING...A FEE MORE CHOICES PLEASE.

While the location was great and near the airport, it also meant hearing some planes overhead as they arrived and departed from Vancouver International Airport. While the hotel was clean, the carpets and furnishing were beginning to show their age and could probably use some updating. There wasn't a mini fridge in the room so we could not put our beverages or leftover food in a place to keep cold.
Checkin was simple and efficient. Arriving at a less busy time also helped. The room was clean and ready for us. The location was great as we were able to take the Canada Line within walking distance of the hotel, (less than 15 minures at a casual walking pace) thus avoiding needing a vehicle to get to the hotel. While there was no airport shuttle, the cost of a taxi ride was minimal ($18.00). This made it more affordable than trying to find a hotel with an airport shuttle. Lots of Asian restaurant options around the hotel to choose from and a McDonald's within walking distance for those who want to do a late night snack run. The Lansdowne Shopping Centre is close by, making mall shopping quite convenient.

The location was convenient. Good access to restaurants, shops and activities, as well as the airport. Breakfast each day was very helpful. Nice facilities too.

The breakfast was very limited. More selection or a variety would have been nice. Ex. very little fruit. Turkey sausages were not browned. No yogurt. Elevator very slow.

Being near the airport is a plus. It is good value. The rooms were fine, building clean and seems to be maintained. The pool and hot tub were operational. I did not use them, but others were. The breakfast was nice. No complaints. Lots of good, affordable asian food in easy walking distance.
