I was thoroughly delighted with the Lakeview Motel. It was close to the center of Haliburton Village. All rooms had parking in front of the doors. The staff was very helpful, wanting to make my stay an exceptional experience. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The HD TV featured an extensive channel selection with both Canadian and US news, weather & entertainment choices. Every small detail had been thought of and put in place; there were boxes of tissues on both sides of the bed; the coffeemaker had extra coffee bags, allowing extra cups to be made; ever toiletry possibly needed was provided---it was as if the management had said, "What is everything we can do to make this a memorable experience for our guests." Also they featured a great breakfast menu which could be ordered the night before. An added feature was a large, heated pool. I highly recommend the Lakeview Motel!

There was not one thing we did not like!! Overall over the top experience We did not like the fact we had to leave!!

We arrived to amazing hosts Jack and Hannah They were so friendly and accommodating The room was clean organized warm and very inviting!! Rustic with a small fridge, Coffee maker and microwave They supplied everything we needed even a BBQ right outside our room!! We Cannot say enough good!! Truly was amazing They even gave a small gift to our little dog

Thin walls! Difficult to sleep due to any movement, talking and noise from above and next to our room.

Great location, nice walking trails on site for the dog. Tim Horton's close by. Friendly staff.

Hot tub is optional for a fee but not really private as basically everyone can walk around you so we did not use it. A good screen would help

Small rooms but it’s a motel folks! Having to pay $25 extra to use the hot tub. The cost for one night but all costs are ridiculous post pandemic!

The warmth of Harsha’s reception and phone conversation. The option for food & alcohol. The clean pool and bathroom. Pool towel availability as one of us forgot one! Comfortable king bed. Close to town.

Rooms advertised with lake views but in truth you can't see the lake. Lumpy pillows though I did sleep well. Swimming pool was kept locked despite being available and I couldn't be bothered to fetch the key just to test the water temperature - so I didn't use the pool. Quite expensive for just a room.

Cozy, very clean rooms with extra blankets/pillows already in the room. Great view of lake from our room. Just down the road from Tim Hortons so was ideal for quick breakfast/coffee. Harsha at the front office was wonderful and very welcoming. We will be back. Thanks again.

The price was high ($220/night) yet no breakfast. The coffee maker seems it hasn't be clean since the last accomodator.

The place is peace and quiet. We stayed at the upper level with a balcony looking over the lake/main road. The staff was friendly. There is mircowave, mini ref, extra pillow and small table.

Despite all the good amenities, this is a motel with a pool so the price is out of proportion for what you get. In fact, the restaurant was not open (contrary to what was stated on the web site). Not even a coffee/simple breakfast was offered. The only establishment within walking distance is a Tim Horton’s. You can’t have it both ways, high prices and reduced services.

Room exceptionally clean, great lighting, very comfortable bed, owner very welcoming. You can sit outside front or back of room. It was very nice to get to the pool after a hot day on the road.
