The corridors were too dark with blue lights. The hotel was on three levels, and I did not see any lifts. There were no eating venues at the holel, but enough choice on the main raod.

The location was good; breakfast space faced the river. And there was a spa (which we did not use).

The price is a bit high I find. But the location is very practical if you will use the Spa facilities next door.

Total absence of any handles or grab bars in shower tub was a worry. Absence of any hooks for towels or clothes in bathroom was inconvenient.

If you are on first floor, rooms 1**, You can be close to the breakfast room and hear a lot of noise in the morning, not the best sound proof walls.

There was a parking for our electric car. The accesibility was as a motel but with the bed quality of an hotel. Nice breakfast uncluded

Not a very big negative, but the hotel parking itself is pretty limited. Not a huge deal because guests have access to the lot next door, which is steps away, but each night upon returning we would drive in to the hotel lot and circle around to check for any vacant spots before having to circle around to the other lot (pro tip, the lots are connected, just keep left upon entering the hotel driveway, a bit easier than popping out into the road and back). Towels are pretty scratchy, but that's not a big negative either, to me anyway.

Check-in was smooth and friendly (as was every interaction with different front-desk staff), the room was just right, comfortable beds, good linens, housekeeping is excellent. In terms of accessibility, the hallways are dimly lit, which might be an issue for anyone with poor vision, but I appreciated the calm vibe. There are two levels, but no elevator, so if stairs pose difficulty make sure to request a ground-floor room. Our room had a full bath, but be warned, the tub floor is sloped and quite glossy, so if you're at risk for slipping maybe pack a rubber mat or grab one from a pharmacy or dollar store nearby (we didn't ask if they had any available at the hotel). Breakfast was simple but quite good; conveyor-toast bar with bread and bagels, coffee and various juices on tap, croissants, chocolatines, muffins, hard-boiled eggs, all the standard jams, peanut butter, cream cheese, mayonnaise (???)... Two microwaves are available if you'd like to warm up your eggs or pop your butter in for 5 seconds while your toast is toasting. We were in town for family business and didn't make use of the spa.

From the exterior photo, it looks like a beautiful classic stone building, but behind this is the hotel which has none of that character. The outdoor pool was very dirty and definitely needed a vacuum. We used it anyway because we had been sitting in our car for many hours! The AC unit is extremely noisy so we did not use it and opened the window for fresh air!!!! The halls are very dimly lit, probably for ambiance, but they are very dark, with no natural light. The site mentioned that the spas are across the road, but it did not say that it was a four lane busy street, with no crosswalks or stoplight.

The location by the little river was lovely. Easy access to highway. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The first room we were given on the main floor directly overlooked the parking lot, where people were walking by. Since we would have had to keep our window blind closed, we asked immediately for a different room and were given one on the 2nd floor, still directly above the parking lot but at least we could leave the blind open! There was a lovely view of the river from the room and from the outdoor heated pool, which we used once.

The only downside to my stay was a very loud group of people in multiple rooms next to mine. They partied until very late in the night even after I called the front desk to let them know.

The place was great, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was very decent.

How bright the temperature number was un the A/C unit. It lit the entire room when the lights were turned off. After that, it was the large blue numbers on the alarm clock that lit the room blue so we disconnected it. Then, it was perfect to sleep except that the A/C was not on. We found the hallways too dark... could have a fresher feel to it since you're part of a spa. Going south on 117, I missed the entrance twice.

How quiet it was and bed was extremely comfortable.

Room was below grade and window looked right into the parking lot. It is across a 4 lane highway from the spa with no close crossing in either direction. I was able to cross but it was definitely not comfortable

Location as we spend time in the spa across the road. Transportation to and from the spa. Free breakfast was included. The hotel is located on the river and the view from the outdoor pool was beautiful. Highly recommend it if you are planning to stay in the spa for the day.
