Super friendly staff. Gorgeous Hotel. So luxurious. We had an extra large vehicle and trailer they managed to find a place to park for us. They helped us with the spa across the street The breakfast was lovely too

United StatesI wish it had spa areas for younger children. I was with my 9yo and unfortunately she could only use the outdoor pool. It rained and was chilly a few days so she wasn’t able to swim. I do realize that not every child is as well behaved as she is and that’s one of the reasons the rules are in place since it’s supposed to be relaxing.
Everything was wonderful and very comfortable. I love that there isn’t any outrageous fees to bring my small dogs.

CanadaOur only suggestion for improvement would be for a more secure way of crossing the street to get to the Spa portion of the facilities. It is a 4-lane street that must be crossed, so if there was a pedestrian crosswalk installed between the hotel and the spa it would be much safer for guests to move from one building to the other. I realize the hotel does not have 100% say on this because it would have to be the City/Municipality who installs the crosswalk, but perhaps the Hotel could lobby the local government for them to install one.
At check-in, staff members "Gabriel" and "Alpha" were both extremely friendly and personable, and went above our expectations to ensure we had a great room. They assigned an exceptional room to us - which exceeded our expectations, and shortly after we got into our room, they called us to see if we were satisfied. This call too we were not expecting and which also exceeded our expectations. Both of them should be highly commended for their exceptional customer service. Because of them we will be returning to this hotel :) Thank you.

I was so upset and didn't understand how this could happen. He then refused to offer us a free room , he did reimburse us for the spa but that was it . If you want to get what you pay for i suggest you find another hotel. We heard 2 other people also that were given the wrong rooms and it was the only people we talked to . Something fishy is going on there , they at first tried to charge me for a suite as well while putting us in the lowest room which I think was intentional or part of some scam the hotel is doing to make money . The spa was okay but there weren't any drinks other then 3 kinds of wine and beer and not many options compared to nordik or Scandinavian you also have to walk over the highway to get to the spa which i find not accommodating. I got over almost being scammed and managed to have a good time even though I didn't get what I planned and had to get upset as soon as I got there .

CanadaIt would have been better having a crosswalk or a stop sign to go to hotel/spa. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's not comfortable crossing a busy street during winter and construction combined. Also a use of the hotel card key for other purchases instead asking for phone numbers would be better.
I always like the baths and saunas there. The massage was amazing.

CanadaConstruction made access very difficult. No cross for pedestrians between hotel and spa. Hotel would be very difficult for someone needing accessibility, dark halls, many grade changes, no elevator. Spa is very busy with inadequate parking. Many people walking around with face masks half down.
Good price and was close to where I needed to be. Clean, quiet, and fairly comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

CanadaWe would have liked that the room have a security box. Breakfast of Thursday lacked sufficient inventory of food. They ran out of hard boiled eggs and milk for cereal. At the spa, the food at the bistro is overpriced. At $14-16 for a sandwich salad and sweet bar; the sandwich should be bigger and the side salad should be more generous; the salad portion was perhaps less than 1/4 cup and were not that good. Either lower the price or be more generous with quantity and quality to provide better value. We tried all 3 options.. ham..tuna..chicken. The chicken sandwich we got was brown meat not chicken breast and the pasta of the tiny pasta salad was undercooked and under seasoned. As client's are not allowed to bring in food or step out to get food, Bistro should complement the experience not detract from it.

CanadaI couldn’t find my room. Signage was horrible and staff unhelpful. I walked the whole property carrying my luggage. No map was offered. I eventually found out my room was in an entirely different building. Would of been nice to know or be given a map. No housekeeping service « on account of covid ». Breakfast reduced to bagels in a bag. But sorry. - no toaster - on account of covid again. I paid way too much for a king bed and thought I had access to spa. Apparently not. Huge fight in the neighbor suite had the police knocking at my door at 1:30 am…. Oops. They had the wrong suite…. sigh…. Some form of night security might have dispelled this situation before it got out of hand.
