It was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was near all the attractions we wanted to go to.

The beds in the back two rooms were not comfortable, one to the point of springs digging into your body. The couch was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I don't think it would have been a comfortable couch to begin with, but it certainly didn't help that it was broken (ripped fabric, springs popping out, pull-out caved in, etc). The TV did not work. A few cords were missing at first that were needed for the Firestick to function. The host provided these but the Firestick still did not work and neither did “built in chrome cast”. We ended up huddling around a laptop to watch a movie whilst sitting on throw pillows to avoid couch springs digging into our bottoms. The washing machine also did not work - the door latch was broken so it could not lock. Front door handle came completely off. Some parts of the house in very worn out condition - curtain rods taped together, walls needing patching, etc. Could have been cleaner - dining table was sticky upon arrival, a few stray hairs in bedding. The host tried to charge me a $700 deposit when the booking I made only required a $300 deposit. The fact that they also requested a photo of my credit card (why would you need this when I already provided credit card info when I made the booking?) and the third party check-in email seemed phishy. After confirming with the host that it was not in fact a scam, my credit card gave me a fraud alert and refused to process the transaction. I ended up calling my credit card company to get their opinion, and they thought it looked like a scam. I then called Booking.com as now I was concerned I wouldn’t have a place to stay on my trip. They ALSO thought it was a scam. I ended up cancelling my credit card two days before our trip because of this which was obviously inconvenient. It ended up not being a scam, but the fact that so many alerts were raised at so many stages indicates to me that the host needs to rethink how they are going about collecting their security deposits….

Place was spacious with lots of natural light. Fantastic location, close to cafés, bakeries, transit. Would recommend checking out the newly renovated Bibliothèque Maisonneuve! Front room had a comfortable bed. Host was responsive to feedback, easy to communicate with, and attempted to fix issues relatively promptly (though not always successfully). Good price.

Not as advertised. The photo of the property showed a balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. In reality, there was one broken chair, 2 air conditioners, some lumber, construction debris and bird droppings. It was a disappointment because I was looking forward to sitting outside. The front balcony is nonexistent, the door to it had a cloth shoved into where the doorknob should be. There was supposed to be a dishwasher, puzzles and games. Perhaps the description should be updated

They canceled our reservation and booked us in an Airbnb appartement that needed renovation. During the stay, the staff communicated poorly and did not provide assistance when we were locked out of the apartment. Fortunately, we were able to talk to the appartement owner who saved the day!

It was large and well equipped. Beds were confortable. It was located in a central par of Montréal.

These are all more minor, but suggestions to improve the experience for guests: - add some extra pillows for use as the couch is extremely uncomfortable in both the upright and flat position - liquid stains on the couch should be cleaned - please inform in advance if any maintenance work is to take place in the unit during someone’s stay, so we can prepare. I got quite a scare after realizing someone was in the apartment while we were out (and I had left money/jewelry out, etc).

The unit was very well cleaned and had all the essentials for a pleasant stay. Pros: - 10-12 min walk to Prefontaine metro station - a deppaneur a convenient 1 min walk away! - all the kitchen supplies you need to cook pretty much anything - extra towels, blankets and sheets - very quiet neighbourhood, it was easy to relax and do work when we needed to

The exterior spaces were not cleaned and left a bad first impression. Exterior of building is not renovated. I don't mind, but might surprise some. Originally a low income neighborhood with its usual unfortunate sights. Note: I never felt in danger. Note 2: everyone has a right to have a roof above their head.

Very responsive host. Free parking spots available on the street (non reserved). Up and coming neighborhood. Apartment has all the amenities you need. Outfitted with new modern ikea design. Television and streaming services amazon prime and netflix included. Clean. Basic linen. Bathroom supplies included.

The bathroom was not clean. No cutting board, strainer or cheese grater. Curtain rod in the front bedroom was broken. Front door knob fell off.

We didn't have TV, cause one cable was missing. You gave us a wrong accès code. We arrived after 9PM, at that time the office was already closed. We texted the service to let you know we couldn't have accès because of the wrong accès code you gave us. Your answer (good acces code) came an hour later.

The toilet kept running water and I often had to reset it, futon sheet could be replaced, lots of noise on Tuesday while back deck was being worked on and I wasn't advised.

The property advertised a sleeper sofa on their Booking.com ad. However, when I enquired about bed linen the night before our arrival, the host informed me that the sleeper couch was not suitable for sleeping. Apparently, if they had the sleeper couch as an option, they would advertise the unit as suitable for accommodating four people. As two guys travelling, we did not want to share a bed. Sadly, one of us had to make do with a very uncomfortable, worn couch with no linen or blankets. Upon arrival, we noticed a water leak from the light in the laundry area due to the rainy weather. For safety reasons, we avoided using the microwave oven, as we were concerned about getting electrocuted by the water coming out of the light. The unit was not cleaned thoroughly. We found a pair of ladies' underwear hanging on the inside patio door, and a false eyelash on the bathroom floor. I contacted the host and informed them of the issues, but they did not offer any form of compensation. While I understand the leak was not the property owner's fault, the property should have been maintained better. The most appropriate compensation would be a discount on our stay, considering the false advertising of the sofa bed and the poor cleanliness of the unit.

The location is excellent, and the metro is just a short walk away. There are plenty of great food options in the area. Accessing the property was easy, and street parking was available.

we rented this because we thought its going to be like home for 4 nights but had a lot of cleaning issues there were everywhere throughout the apartment and have a safety issue, door knob in the room is broken and they inserted a towel in that. parking soot wasn’t cleared had a lot of snow. after booking the contract they send to sign has so many things to do before they check out, i wish they start looking after their cleaning company. we wasted money because we got there late so stayed for one night and then next day rented room in a hotel
