Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe bathroom light was a bit bright. The pool was small and many people were using it. The breakfast room was busy on the weekday (Friday) and less so on the weekend (Saturday).
The room was large, spacious and clean AND it had an entire kitchenette. The location was excellent, easy access from A10, convenient valet parking, and within walking distance of main downtown attractions, old Montreal, Chinatown, the port and Mont Royal. The breakfast that was included had lots of varieties of food and options of tea or coffee.

CanadaThe cost of valet parking is a bit prohibitive. I understand the need to charge for parking, and if it was just one in and out I cd grin & bear it, but w the ins and outs and the tips to valets, it sure adds up. I don’t see a solution but wanted to make a comment. This wd apply to all hotels w valet parking not just to Le Square P. PS no option re car in my case as spouse has mobility issues, so car necessary.
Location. Excellent both for downtown and old Mtl. Room. Large, clean. Kitchen. Great to have (ps needed a frying pan) Exercise room. Clean Pool.

United StatesHaving stayed there four times over the past five years, the property could use an upgrade(old/dated furniture), and the quality of the buffet breakfast has declined. The juice machine often dispenses overly watered down beverages, the selection of fruits are often bruised and overripe(bananas and apples), they no longer have bread choices such as croissants(!) or waffles, just dry bagels and toast, along with sugary pound cakes. If you need non-dairy or gluten free options, you will have challenges eating in-house daily.
Staff accommodated a room change, which was then an upgrade, due to initially being placed next door to a family with children who cried nonstop. The staff are very friendly, from the front desk, to the lobby and breakfast cafe. The family suites are spacious and the kitchens are very convenient when you want to make a quick meal for children.

United StatesHôtel served breakfast every morning with a very friendly and hard working staff. All staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful and all spoke French and English. If I was to point out one thing on the bad it would be that the pool only had a latter to get in and out and not gradual stairs. This made it very difficult for a person with disabilities like myself.
We were a family of 3 traveling. We had a one bedroom (queen bed) loft room. Room was like a good size efficiency apartment. Full kitchen, table/4 chairs, living space with pull out sofa ( double bed) and chair with ottoman and a writing desk. The view from our room was awesome at night.

United StatesOh my god this place was great! Fantastic location, close to just about anywhere you want to go during a stay in Montreal! The place was beautiful, meticulously clean, the suite was huge and had everything we needed, stove, huge refrigerator, coffee maker, clean beds and shower, indoor pool, deck on roof, gym, Fantastic breakfast, etc. Best of all was the incredible customer service at the desk and especially the parking attendants and concierge! Absolutely will come back with my extended family and friends! Thanks for a great time!
