Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

This is a great value hotel in excellent location. Two minutes from subway, and can walk many places downtown. It is clean, well-maintained and professionally managed. Included breakfast is good, and indoor parking available at reasonable cost.

BelgiumRooms come with a kitchenette allowing you cook. However, there is a notification in the room that if any dishes are left dirty you will be charged an extra $50. This is a problem both because it is an unexpected cost but also because people may use dishes and put them away without properly cleaning them. Hotel should be washing dishes/glasses in between different guests using the room regardless for hygienic issues.
Hotel is perfectly located right at Berri-UQAM Metro. Staff are very friendly. There is an IGA grocery very close by and lots of places to eat on St. Denis. Wifi and TV worked well. Breakfast was basic but good. Would happily stay again.

CanadaParking is $20 per day which is way too much, i stayed 3 nights there which cost me $60 just for parking.
Location is close to old port of Montreal, basically it’s walking distance to there if you are not driving.

United StatesThe bars of soap provided are way too small. I recommend bringing your own bar (or bottle) of soap. The neighborhood might bother some people. Lots of homeless around.
The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower worked great, and the wifi was very good. The location next to the Berri/UQAM metro station was good. The breakfast was continental, but there were plenty of choices.
