Our itinerary (Niagara Bruce Trail club hike) had us up and out earlier than when breakfast was served so we can’t comment on that. Our room which was nice was in the basement, so no view and I could see that it could be damp (there was a dehumidifier) in the summer. Was fine for us though.

Very quiet, large balcony facing the gorge which we enjoyed our own lunch and a bottle of wine on. Small shared “kitchenette” where we could prepare some simple meals.

The house is absolutely spectacular with an incredible location near Niagara Falls, Ontario. Our room was beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. Our favorite time was spent with Miss Helena, the special person that you meet along the way. Her breakfasts' were elaborate and very delicious. She absolutely went out of her way to provide advice, routes and special things to do away from the more touristy area of Niagara Falls. We cannot say enough about this very special place.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit Niagara Falls, Canadian side, look no further than the Lion’s Head! From the moment we entered this meticulous home we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our host was so gracious and accommodating throughout our stay and made the most amazing breakfasts. She was very knowledgeable and helped us maneuver our way to many interesting sites. Our location was perfect with walking distance to everything. We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home with a wonderful host. We highly recommend this lovely B&B!

The location was great. It was a few minutes walk from the GO station and about a 10 minute walk to the falls. The room was bright and big. The draw back is that there was no breakfast served.

Helena the owner is the most interesting person I have ever met, she was such a good host and we were in awe of her stories from past over a cup of coffee once she had given us a tour of her amazing property. Our room, the Queen Suite was in the basement with our own access, it was immaculately clean and the bed was super comfy, there was plenty of room for me and my adult daughter and all our stuff. The B&B was a 5 minute walk from our first sighting of the falls at Niagara. Great location, lovely rooms (all of them as we were shown them on the tour of the house). So glad we cancelled Days Inn and booked The Lions Head instead.

The host was very prompt with all of her responses, answering any questions, and providing great area information and tips. The rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean, and the bed was comfortable with wonderful linens. I personally like to stay in a quieter location when I travel to extremely touristy spots, and I like to walk, so this location was perfect. The house is just up the hill a bit, right on the river, so the walk is beautiful, too. Being able to park here and leave the car (without extra parking fees, which are astronomical in town) was definitely a perk. I plan to return in the spring and will definitely stay here again.

Helena was a great owner/hostess who shared a lot of information for visiting the area. Her breakfasts were excellent each morning. The room and bath were very clean and comfortable. The location was great in that we could walk to the falls area (US and Canada) as well as use the bus as the stop was close by.

The house is beautiful and immaculate. Breakfast was amazing. Our room was gorgeous. The house is also close enough to the falls to walk. We walked back and forth each day and did not have to fight for parking.

We loved Lion's Head B&B, and the proprietor, Helena. The breakfast was excellent, the service was friendly and no-nonsense, and the home was comfortable and spotless.

It has been so hot that the a/c in the attic suite had a hard time keeping up. Also, there is only a bath with wand as the ceiling would not accomodate a shower. But a beautiful bath! I would have enjoyed a bigger breakfast with more choices on the table as opposed to the pre-plated breakfast served. While the crepes were luscious, I don't eat eggs(allergy) and that was served the second morning. More choices, and simply more food would have been appreciated to fuel up for a long tourist day.

The Lions Head has been beautifully cared for and decorated in a lovely manner. Our unit was at the top of the house and the largest, decorated with a french flair. Lovely porch to sit on and close to the Falls. Parking is behind the house. Breakfast is at 9a and served in the home's dining room.
