I think the room needs a mirror, especially as we're all sharing a bathroom. It would also benefit from a squeegee to clean down the shower and a kettle to make hot drinks easily. Walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours every move.

I liked how close it was to the bus station - travelling into the city was easy. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

The room was advertised as 30sq m. It wasn’t. Maybe that included the communal spaces? The room itself was very small.

There are cameras INSIDE the house! The house is located on a busy street so you willl hear traffic noise/vibrations in your room.

The room was very spacious and clean! I think it could fit a couple comfortably. I liked that the bedroom I booked had its own bathroom inside the room, so I was able to have the private bathroom for myself. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Location, close to downtown Vancouver, bed didn’t have a top sheet just a blanket.

perfect little room for our 1 night stay, the house was easy to find, rooms are labeled well and has a large living space and kitchen. We had a tv in our room with netflix, disney etc and the bed was super comfy. Cleaning supplies, towels and shampoos, even teas all there for you. For the price it’s great, would definitely stay again if i visit van

This is similar to an Air BnB. There are 3 rooms upstairs. There was a shared open lounge with massive TV and a kitchen with large shared fridge and assorted cooking and crockery equipment. We had not realised til after buying some food that needed to go into the large oven that the oven control knob was missing; however, there was a microwave sized oven that we were able to cook the food in, in relays. There was a dishwasher but no washing machine. A large pile of clean towels was in the lounge for using. The 2 smaller rooms looked to be small and shared a bathroom. We had the good sized ensuite room at the back - and which must have been cooler (our first few days were very hot). There was no a/c, just open windows with mosquito netting, but Yan said we could borrow the tower fan from the unused lounge. There was a very large bed, a large walk in wardrobe/ closet, comfortable large sofa and big coffee table. We were not able to make the TV work but managed with the wifi. Reviews had written of the place being unclean. The main areas were fine but, for instance, the lightbulbs inside the big bedside lamp, and area between the bedside table and wall, had thick dust and which we cleaned ourselves. We never met our hostess Yan, though she responded to most of our messages. She and her family apparently lived in a bungalow across the yard. This is quite a long way from Downtown. There is one very nearby small convenience shop and all other shops or cafés etc, are at last a 10 minute walk up the hill opposite or along McGill St to the junction at its end. There is parking on the street outside. We had chosen here partly as reviews said that the no. 4 bus ran straight to Downtown Vancouver from virtually outside the property. It does - a depressing route through a considerable section of homeless people living on the rundown streets.

The other guests, you could hear them going to the bathroom as it was situated right next to our room and it flushed quite loudly..

Easy accommodation coming in late from the airport and moving on the next day. Very nice host.

McGill str. busy a bit (noise) but I could sleep well.

Location : very good, safe Public transport : # 4 bus stop is by the house. Easy to go to Downtown or Airport. (if you come from Airport buy a 2 zones ticket that is enough. Otherwise ticket from bus driver or in London drugs on Hastings str.) House : very well equipped, comfortable, clean. Food,shops, restaurants : 1-10 min. from house by walk Nice parks round Wifi: okay Owner: friendly, arrived every day to clean I liked the house rules. Quiet neighbors.
