Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaOne of the folks that checked us in the evening before, seemed to be overly busy with travelers and phone etc... neglected to give us our breakfast voucher, and inform us that dinner at 8pm is a buffet. Otherwise everything was fine.
Such a relaxing calming area. Beautiful grounds and very comfortable rooms. Next time we are thinking of booking one of the cabins. Love that there are animals for the kids to see. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

CanadaBoth at the time of booking and at check in I confirmed that it would be walker - accessible. I pulled up to see stairs to enter. Returned to the office to say that it wasn’t accessible, and was told they didn’t have anything accessible. I told her I drove one with a ramp. We were moved to the ramp cottage. At dinner, we were told we could not order a lobster, but that they could bring the same amount of lobster as would go in a lobster roll. I questioned whether it would be mixed with mayonnaise and was told it could just be lobster. When the meal arrived, it was mixed with mayonnaise. The waitress was gone before I could say anything. When I called her over, she just stared at me when I pointed out that there was clearly mayonnaise on it. She said there wasn’t, because she didn’t ask for mayo on it … I said, regardless, it was there. She eventually went back to see if she could bring lobster without mayonnaise, and returned to say it arrived mixed in mayonnaise. ( Had we known this, would have ordered something different. My colleague at her fries. She then was handed her cheque for $30 for the lobster she never ate. Again, had to call the waitress over and ask for the manager. She cam back with a new cheque with only her coffee on it. ( I would have even been fine if she was charged for fries, as she did eat some) The uncomfortableness of the on- going issues really took away from the meal

CanadaWe were totally blown away by liscombe lodge. Everything was amazing! The location is so calm and peaceful (no cell service, which was a nice break) The river is beautiful and the resort has so many amenities. We only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed two. I highly recommend Liscombe Lodge to anyone who is looking for a peaceful place to unwind. Also, the staff is INCREDIBLE. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our dinner and everyone on staff went above and beyond to help us and to make us feel great! I can't wait to go back!

CanadaIt was perfect for us. Quiet and peaceful and lots to see right on the grounds. Situated by a beautiful river. We walked the trails with ease and enjoyed the scenery. We booked another night after the first one. Absolutely what we needed to relax. The room and restaurant was awesome and the staff exceptional.

CanadaStaff seemed over stretched and not very friendly at all. The restaurant food was only okay. Musty odour in main lodge.

CanadaThe pool has stains all over the bottom and sides and only one jet worked properly in the hot tubs. The unit they gave us was very tired, the bathtub had old yellow tiles with rust, there was a musty smell to the room, I think from the drapes, overall just needs some love and care.
The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The scenery is amazing and the landscaping is well kept.
