Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe apartment got VERY HOT upstairs at night. It never occurred to us to try to fix the thermostat in the apartment, so that could be on us. My (20 year old) daughter slept in the upstairs bed in the loft and she said it was hard like sleeping on a box. Also, be sure you are all on the same sleep schedules as the draw back to the lovely open floor plan is that every thing is audible. There is one room with a door and we (parents) took that one so our adult children's evening activities didn't disturb us. (Not really a con but something to note:) There is only one set of keys and you must have the keys to open the THREE doors to get in and out. Last person to leave must lock door.
The number one best thing about this place is the LOCATION. You are directly inside the gate to Old Quebec on a lovely street with cafes, bars, restaurants and stores. The windows in the apartment are spectacular and they open directly to the street! The kitchen is well stocked and appliances were easy to use. The host left very clear tips on places to go and keys and parking were easy to access. Covered parking is a short walk on the other side of the city gate to the left up the hill.

CanadaLocation is on a busy street which has tons of advantages. But, it also means road noise and activity even at night. More curtains or encouraging guests to bring earplugs and an eye mask might be a good suggestion. As well, the bed area in the loft would benefit from significantly more lighting.

CanadaThere was construction behind the building that started at 8 in the morning. Although we got a parking pass, it was difficult to find the location since it was our first time. It would be good if they mention that the main street(St. Jean) is blocked off so you cannot drop off your your luggage right in front of the building
