How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bedding but I rarely do. The bed was comfortable, the blanket and sheets not so much.
It was nice and quiet. I didn't know I had neighbours until the next day when I saw their car. The water pressure for the shower was great. I rate most stays on this and I'd stay again because of this.

Breakfast is minimal muffin and cake and coffee
It is a clean an simple motel 5 minute drive from downtown Stratford Nice landscaping and quiet

No complains. We got a good deal
The motel is well kept in a big lot with beautiful gardens where the customers can have a picnic. Our room was very clean with a good shower and clean towels. The room also has a fridge and a table with two chairs to eat a light dinner or breakfast.The bed was comfortable and in good shape.. The owners are very attentive and detailed oriented, which made our stay very pleasant

A few more offerings at breakfast would be great especially some protein.
Juice, coffee, tea, and a little muffin and some kind of loaf. Just that breakfast was a surprise because I didn’t think there was anything. All good.

Could have used another set of bed pillows. Older folks often need support for back and knees at night.
Exceptionally clean, decent beds, close to town and theaters, very nice lady checked us in and out. Coffee and Light breakfast was just what we needed before hitting the road to return home.

The staff are lovely, the rooms were clean and it's a super convenient location! Just a note that there is not a microwave in the rooms should that matter for you, and the bathroom products are green tea based. The rooms are massive for motel rooms and there was a lovely armoire for hanging our clothes plus a dresser.

It was exactly what we expected. Small, quiet and clean. Staff was friendly and kind.

We had some problem this time with the WiFi, but haven’t had an issue here before.
I have stayed here many times before and find it a convenient location and good price for an overnight stay in Stratford.

Couldn't figure how to work the TV and get more than 3 stations. We think we might have been using the wrong remote. Some instructions in the room might be helpful
Motel was clean though there were tiny ants in the bathroom. We chose this motel for its convenience to the theaters but not near the noisy city.

This motel is nice and clean, and located in Stratford where its quiet , away from the busy downtown. Great parking right in front of your room, and great people who own it.

The room was very clean. A small fridge, kettle, microwave, dishes, cleaning supplies, etc., and tea/coffee were supplied...a nice surprise, as I usually bring my own. The TV worked well and the bed was very comfortable. Very reasonably priced.

One bed cover had some staining on it. The bathroom towels smelled faintly of cigarette smoke.
Very basic accommodation. Perfect for one night when we did not expect to be in our room very much. Experience matched the reviews. Very good location.

I was not informed there was a breakfast area. I saw this the day we were checking out. Was breakfast included? It does not have any breakfast on the website nor did the person at the desk say that.
It was a very clean room and very comfortable all around. The personnel made you feel welcome. We will definitely book this motel again when in Stratford.

Room 30 . It was as was promoted. It was a nice size, fulfilled all we needed for a two night stay. We spent longer in the room than intended due to rain and winds, and it was fine. One comment would be that there is a rather large gap between the door and frame that could do with some sort of heat / cool loss remedy. You can see the outdoor light quite significantly. Just a maintenance issue you would appreciate knowing I’m sure. Yes it was overall just a nice clean place for our needs. Thank you
Just took away a coffee. The room look pleasant for having a breakfast.
