Nothing I disliked, however the stove I found was a little weak for the one meal i cooked, so be prepared if you intend to cook extensively.

Room and area were clean and comfortable, and owner was very nice and communicative about any inquiries.

On Friday evening, there was a bit of noise coming from the ground floor, probably from other guests talking loudly. It wasn't a big problem, though.

During my stay at Merj's House in Winnipeg, I truly appreciated the warm welcome and cozy atmosphere. The location in Wolseley was convenient, and the room provided was clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd highly recommend it to others visiting the area. Additionally, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, whose warmth and hospitality added an extra layer of charm to my stay. Our pleasant conversation further enhanced my experience.

The owner did mention it's an old home, the only thing is that I get warm easily. However, I opened the window for a breeze and drank cold water to keep myself cool. (My roommate was lowkey, kinda weird and paced too much) However that isn't the owners fault. 🤣

Firstly, I booked this place as a one-day getaway from the stressors of life with personal relationships and university. This is my first time seeing a beautiful. A unique approach and the house is colorful outside, but the decor? It's very cozy with different appliances, mindfully places there for usage. I did not expect to be greeted with welcoming treat/s. Don't want to mention it here because it might change over time. However, what truly amazes me is the fact the owners went above and beyond and truly care. The bed is probably better than any other bed I've slept on! The communication is there. And it's something that people with airbnbs need to carefully practice. I been through a fair share of airbnbs in the past but they set the bar high. It makes me not want to go to other airbnbs due to this reason. Try them out, but please don't abuse their kindness. Make sure you communicate before, during and after your stay. Your needs matter but do not go online just to complain because they can't meet standards of being a psychic/mind reader. Thank you so much for letting me destress and study in your humble home! ✨️

The house was very conveniently located. Close to the main road, yet not too close to be a bother. Stores and a restaurant within 2 minutes walk, and downtown is about 15 minutes walk. the house was very clean and quiet, and the host was readily available to help with just about anything. The room had enough space, nicely decorated, clean, and well-organized.

Had an annoying racist guest in the other room but that’s not the property’s or the owner’s fault.

Very cozy place, set out in a quiet area in Winnipeg not far from one of the main thoroughfares of the city, not too far from the airport. Decked with all facilities required for a comfortable stay with clear instructions.
