Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaMotel was easy to find off the Trans Canada, about 300m south. Motel is clean modestly furnished and recently renovated. Bed was very comfortable to sleep on. Also, like the greeting from the owner's cat, Happy. Very friendly!

CanadaI guess this is not uncommon, but there is a large deposit needed like $200 on credit card. I am not sure how this would work for travellers with no credit. I had issue with getting it returned to my card, but the manager straightened it out, so that was very nice.

CanadaCould of had some bath towels in the room. The biggest towel they had was not a bath towel size if it was the it was a small bath towel. Couldn't understand the staff member as his English wasn't that great.
Location was good close to the highway. Was pretty quiet couldn't hear much traffic.

CanadaWhen we went to go into our room the key wouldn’t work and the service was rude. we had to wait about 5 minutes outside in the cold for him to let us into the room. When we asked how to avoid this later at night when we would be coming back, he failed to answer the questions. Luckily it didn’t happen again but it could’ve been a problem if it did.

CanadaIt would have been nice to have a little more lighting bedside lamp on both sides of the bed, lighting by the entrance from the parking lot. Also bathroom cleanliness could have been better. The shower curtain is easily taken off and will come clean being washed with towels. Also when cleaning the bathroom, please look at the backside of the door- easily missed when going in and out with cleaning, but dirty fingerprints were on back of door and a small hair collection in the corner below door hinges - these things affect the impression of the room. Also, we were two guests but only had one face cloth. Otherwise the bathroom and bedroom linens were great!
The price and location were very good.

The room was clean. A little warm when I got there. I think the shower nozzle needs to be updated. The $200 deposit I don’t think is necessary and should be charged to everyone. Hard to understand owner when he spoke.

CanadaI only have some minor complaints given the price, but there are several. The bathroom is pretty crammed. Given that you are off the highway, you do hear cars nearby (not that it bothered me all that much coming from the big city, but worth noting). If you get foot traffic by your window (which we did), you hear it clearly. The TV is low compared to the bed, so watching it is uncomfortable. Also sad that there was no breakfast included during COVID.
The fact that it is right off the highway is very nice. You aren't quite in Brandon so you can easily continue on your journey the next day. The room came with a functioning television and WiFi was great. The man who served us was nice. The price is great.
